Is there anyone here that still like metarunner?
The story is so good, the music is so good but the animation is not. Its the first glitch show and have a lot of cool scenes!

Wolfwalkers came out in 2020, but they way it handles colonization, draws parallels between indigenous people and immigrants within a colonial society, and tackles how people who uphold the status quo *out of fear and self preservation* are complicit in the violence perpetuated against their own people is interesting.
The way the wolf hunt in Ireland is an unsubtle allegory for genocide.
The way the wolf mother was showcased as a "tamed" indigenous person, followed by a scene where the oliver cromwell character says "tamed people can assimilate, and those that can't be tamed need to be destroyed."
The way the father's character development is him finally breaking the law to effectively embrace his status as an "unsanctioned person" after spending the whole movie oppressing himself and his daughter for fear of being deported, jailed, tortured, or executed. The way the wolfwalkers accepted him in their community after that BECAUSE he had that character development.
The way the colonizer villain chose to kill himself rather than see a world where indigenous people are real, valued, and alive alongside him.
The entire movie hit a lot of subject matter just right to the degree that I think anyone who is anxious about the current political climate who also comforts themselves with topical media might like it.
Yes! This is part of why I love this movie! Thanks for explaining it so well!
