Hello!
I am new to tumblr, so here's a quick rundown on me!
I am a middle child and second son
I was raised in both the TLM and Novus Ordo communities,
I am a military brat
I love listening to all sorts of music! I've currently been on a midwest emo kick but I've also recently discovered Clover by Or3o and holy shit is it good. Twenty One Pilots and U2 are by far my most favorite artists.
Quick points on what I believe.
Evolution: I am neither a biologist, geologist, or paleontologist. I am an amateur theologian. As far as I am concerned, evolution is compatible with my beliefs and I am fine accept it as true. I am not concerned with arguing for it or against it. I am concerned with helping people to understand that you can be a Christian regardless of your opinions on this matter. We have bigger problems than whether or not dinos are 65 million years old or 6000 years old.
God: I believe in a literal supernatural God that exists in three persons and that the second person entered history as 1st century Jew named Jesus of Nazareth. I believe in a literal Death and Resurrection of said Jesus and that His message was to turn to God, reconcile with Him, and to love others.
LGBTQ+: I believe that everyone, regardless of sexuality, is a loved child of God and that there is no excuse to treat people as less than that. I do not consider the mere fact of being LGBTQ+ to be a sin. That said, I do consider such relationships to be sinful.
I am happy to discuss theology and such with anyone, especially people that disagree with me! I want to understand those points of view that are distinct from mine because I believe that that first step to loving someone is to know and understand them as they currently are.
