extremely concerning seeing otherkin (especially minors) post their memories of a person they knew in a past life and ask for them to reach out. people can lie. that person might not be like you think they are. people can take advantage of you. there is basically a zero percent chance you are going to find the person you're thinking of, please just keep yourself safe and hold off on it even if you miss them
Very much this. Hopefully you don’t mind me soapboxing in your notes, OP, but - if you absolutely must try to find these people, at least try to do it safely, meaning:
1) Withhold information and make them fill in the gaps. Write everything you know about yourself and your past life down somewhere they can’t see, so you can’t trick yourself into “oh yeah I remember that too” when you didn’t actually (because you want to believe it’s them and your brain may well try to make it so), and only give part of the information you have, then ask them questions to fill in the gaps you left. They should be doing the same to you. If what they’re saying they remember contradicts what you know, they’re either similar-but-not-the-same or they’re trying to manipulate you. (If you tell them “sorry but that doesn’t seem to match up, I don’t think we actually knew each other after all” and they try to convince you “but I’m so sure I remember you, you seem so familiar! Are you sure you’re remembering correctly?”, it’s the latter and that’s a huge red flag for gaslighting, get the fuck out of there.)
2) Even if you do find someone whom you think you knew in a past life, remember you are in no way beholden to them. Just because you got along then does not mean you’ll get along now. Just because you were dating/married/mated then does not mean they have any right to demand anything from you now (or vice versa!) nor does it mean that you’ll match well romantically now. You are entirely different people now; you are in no way beholden to the relationships you had (or have, or will have) in another life. If they start treating you poorly, do not hang onto them longer than you would hang onto anyone else just because you knew them in a past life. If they start trying to coerce you into a relationship dynamic you don’t want - be it romantic, sexual, or platonic - get the fuck out of there, because whether or not they actually did know you in a past life, they are using the fact that you think they did to manipulate you now and that is not okay. Even the people who genuinely did share a past life with you might use it to manipulate you now.
3) Building on that, just be on high alert for manipulation red flags in general. If something feels off, trust that feeling. Meeting people from your past life can happen and it can be wonderful when it does and they turn out to still be people you get along with, but the process of searching for those connections is fraught with people trying to take advantage of you. Be wary, be careful, and be ready to cut ties when you need to. Prioritize your safety over your nostalgia and homesickness.
Changing negative language to positive:
"I'm an alcoholic" to "I'm like harry du bois"
"I'm a failure" to "I'm like harry du bois"
"My wife left me" to "I'm like harry du bois"
"I haven't showered in a week" to "I'm like harry du bois"
"I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack" to "I'm like harry bois"
"I'm depressed" to "I'm like harry du bois"
"I really need therapy" to "I'm like harry du bois"
Minecraft - Unknown
Look, I don’t really understand this one. It’s like something masquerading as Minecraft. Or a much more realistic Minecraft ig

Saints Row - Johnny Gat
A shorter one again
World of Warcraft - Kel’thuzad
Memories, no specified order:
Warhammer 40k - Harlequin & Salamander
I’ve put these two together cause they belong to the same source and are considerably short
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines - Fledgling Toreador
Hey, this one is short!
The Stanley Parable - The Narrator
Ai’right, here it comes, the most fucked up I have on the list. I'm trying my best to resume this

The Elder Scrolls II / IV / V - The Agent of Daggerfall | The Champion of Cyrodill | The Last Dragonborn
I'll be trying to resume three lives in one post, since they are all related:
Outer Wilds - Protagonist
Short one. Fun little worldbuilding too.
Lord Of The Rings - Aragorn
This one is still being updated, haven’t finished the books.
My canon appears to be a bit of a mix between both books and movies.
Little Big Planet - Sackperson
Stuff under the cut:
Fallout: New Vegas - Courier Six
Lot’sa stuff under the cut
