You Know Who I Am

I was a human guy, on the bigger side, and worked mainly as a courier. Often did part time jobs, mostly anything that helped me pass the time.

The world - People:

Player characters and villagers were the same thing, same species and no differences at all.

There were settlements littered across the land, raging from small farmsteads to thriving cities. Some regions were more developed, with cobbled roads uniting the different settlements, while others just had dirt paths. Villages often started in places with good resources, and were either abandoned when the sources dried up, or managed to hold enough to become trading spots.

Piglin were a lot like us, but we had our differences of language. Their society was divided in some strange way, with a central bastion and a network of villages, or clans, working under it. But they weren't really talkative, mostly interested in trading. They were a warring race, which was weird because they didn't really fight against each other.

Their villages were small things, often near Nether forests, geared towards raising the youth and obtaining resources. Often accompanied by a Nether Outpost, with a twin structure on the Overworld which worked as a hub for trading.

The world - Misc

Powder snow appeared during sudden and strong snowstorms that disappeared as quickly as it started, leaving many layers of unstable snow with way too many air pockets in it. Of course you could cross it with some safety by wearing specialized footwear, and with experience I started being able to detect it from afar and walk with less problems.

There were a kind of silverfish, smaller than its cave cousins, that lived in tundras. They would dig countless tunnels through the snow, which resulted too in powder snow. They preyed on whoever or whatever would fall into their tunnels.

Strays were a common problem in powder snow, they would lay down in it, barely visible, then wait patiently for someone to walk by, where they would jump to grab their legs.

Diamond was actually a sort of metal, which crystallized in beautiful patterns when cooled.

Boss:

A white man, with a thin build and barely any muscle. Got a bit bigger cause I would invite him to gym.

He was young, younger than us all and barely legal when he joined. I know this because I had to buy him alcohol more than once

He had a forever baby face, round and smooth features with a triangular chin and big greenish eyes.

He tried to grow a beard but only got a chin strap and some patchy mustache.

Had a big mop for hair ,light brown. In some skater boy and early 2010s boysband style.

He had some scars. I played with the idea of him doing that to himself to appear older. Which didn’t really result, he still looked young.

However, he was completely psychotic, gun loving and reckless. So we teamed up a lot and became great friends.

One time, we stole a police car and followed some guy, hitting the lights to pull him over. The driver got me closer, I just said something smart and shoot the guy in the face

Car chases with shootings were fun, the Boss drove and I remember pointing the gun behind, and shooting right at the other drivers’ heads, making the cars immediately lose control.

People:

Kinzie was weird. Her intelligence and smarts would sometimes get in the way, but still liked her craziness. Excellent fighter, although she liked explosions a bit too much and I preferred a classic shooting.

Hated Matt so much.

Random scenes:

I honestly don't know what came of me when I entered the plane's cabin, but decided to fuck it up and manage, as I always did (SR III)

I remember these last moments, of pure panic as I got surrounded. For once, I felt I was going to fail. I remember a gun pointed right at my face, and a gunshot. Except that pain never came, and instead there was a strong light, an explosion and my whole body being pulled off. (SR III)

The training simulations with the powers recently acquired were fucking cool, and I loved that rush of energy (SR IV)

~receiving the power of the Halo, it was amazing. Feeling that power course through my whole body, so hot that it almost burned but at the same time filling me with strength and energy. (SR Hell)

In the end, I think I went with choosing a new home for humanity. I tried to haggle a lot with God, asking for stuff like me meeting again with Aisha while the Earth was restored, but he said only one request was allowed. So I choose for mankind and for my friends. I think I’ve realized I had mourned enough, and had to be the bigger guy.

Messing with magic?

In a packed library? It was dark, the only light coming from a nearby candle. Studying over various tomes. Felt hungry and thirsty but never abandoned my studies. Adhd-having ass I bet

Cold, so much cold around me. Walking was difficult, each step breaking my whole body. I felt wet cold clothes dripping my skin, pushing me down. But that damned voice urged me to carry on.

Helping carry Arthas when he was paralyzed. Definitely remember holding him at my side.

I felt myself getting more and more corrupted? Yet I wasn’t able to do anything about it. Felt kinda sad. Felt like an idiot for choosing down that path but now was too late. Later, I just embraced it.

Reason for turning into necromancy was fearing my own mortality?

Harlequin 

I was a male, but like in a nonbinary way. Anyways eldar culture had a different thought on genders

Was called Jaer, and belonged to the Masque of the Midnight Sorrow. Specifically with the Shattered Dream, a Twilight troupe.

Long hair, often tied in a ponytail. Hair was some unnatural color, something purplish or greyish? Or maybe changed the color at some point of my life?

Becoming a Harlequin meant abandoning my whole old life, which also meant no memories. However, do remember some weird dreams and visages of the Great Harlequin whispering at me. This repeated for some time until I woke up one night to a Solitaire perched over my bed, staring at me.

Born and raised in some craftworld. Had an older family member, mother or sister, who worked as bonesinger, and remember thinking it was the most amazing thing. Would later leave for Comorragh, where I stayed even after being recruited into the Harlequins.

After joining the Troupe, got some really strong political opinions. Mostly over how Vect dealt with the Gate of Khaine and the constant daemon invasions. Of course I ended up losing my life during one of the stronger invasions

Salamander space marine

Was called Orreius. Typical Salamander appearance, with a bald head, a scar on my mouth and a pin on my right temple.

Belonged to the Salamanders chapter, 3rd Company, Tactical squad. Lived long enough to gain a promotion to squad leader

Had a brother I was very close to, we were practically raised together before being recruited, and stayed together after. His name was Aujan/Aujar, and he was an Apothecary.

Participated in thee events of the Second or Third War Of Armageddon.

Was a guy, average height, on the thin side, dark hair. Name had some weird european part.

Became part of the Toreador clan, although many didn't really like me for being the more modern style. Got friendly with the Baron of Hollywood for our love of movies.

Tended to side with Anarchs, but also didn't refrain from sticking with Camarilla when it benefitted me.

First of all, I had no appearance, mostly a disembodied voice.

At the beginning, I thought I was a god playing with a toy, where I would control Stanley to build my storylines. But he started gaining more and more control over his choices and decisions, and we wrestled in this constant fight for control. Resets mostly erased our memories.

Then, we heard the Curator, and her monologue about us hating but needing each other, both wishing for freedom. We wanted to escape from that place, but we still wished for control over one another. We realized we had to work together for it, but it was hard to juggle two over-controlling freaks. I theorized that reality to be a custom-made prison or a cyclic repetitive hell. Resets started having less and less power over our memories, and I started noticing my reality-bending powers to start weakening. That’s when we started noticing weirder stuff, what appeared to be someone following us and black computer screens (a strange blackness, different than a normal screen turned off) with strange requests.

I'll be trying to resume three lives in one post, since they are all related:

First, there was some random dunmer, ailing from mainland Morrowind, who for some reason was acquainted with the Emperor Uriel Septim VII, and promptly sent to Daggerfall to deal with local political matters.

That dunmer did so, following with the events of TES III: Daggerfall, eventually gifting the tokem of Tiber Septim to someone. That act proved a disaster for said dunmer, who by being at the centre of all events, was wiped out of existence by a Dragon Break.

Well, Akatosh remained very apologetic about that, and promised that dunmer a second change to correct his error.

Then there's another dunmer, this time a lad by the name of Verlo Santri of Vvanderfel. Inspired by the tales of the Nerevarine, he decides to become a hero himself and travels to Cyrodill. Where he is immediately jailed after getting into a fistfight with some off-duty guard.

That turns out to be the key to success, and he is met again (unknowingly) with Uriel Septim VII. Thus begins the events of TES IV: Oblivion. Until finishing with the main questline, Cyrodill and the Empire. But still mourning the sacrifice of his friend Martin Septim, Verlo leaves to another place, crossing a mysterious gate into the Shivering Isles.

Thus goes the events of the Shivering Isles add-on. Verlo meets with Sheogorath, daedric prince of madness, goes on his quests and eventually mantles the daedric prince. Now, such act of apotheosis isn't easy, and he finds his soul getting replaced by the prince's, until being completely driven out of the body.

Again Akatosh appears. "This time didn't count", he paraphrases. Promises a third chance, a final to finally deal with this.

And a small kajhiit is born, in some distant land many decades later.

Raised by caravan merchants, Ta'zir eventually crosses the border into Skyrim at the wrong time, being captured by Imperial soldiers. This begins the events of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Now, what's really special about this one, is that Ta'zir is specially sensitive about things. Perhaps it's the dragon blood, or perhaps something related to the khajiit, but he is very aware of having had some past lives. And promptly freaks out when meeting with certain individuals again (Being, Mehrunes Dagon and Sheogorath).

Luckily for him, the dragons and the Greybeards don't really care about it, so life goes on, eventually leading with the events of the two DLCs Dawnguard and Dragonborn.

On me:

Young, barely an adult.

A bit over-enthusiastic at the beginning, eager to start my career as an explorer.

I was young at the highest point of space exploration, when the astronauts were exploring and mapping our solar system. So I was raised with constant news and discoveries, which ignited my love for it.

On Hearthians:

Unlike the game, there were more villages spread through Timber Hearth, of various sizes. But ours was the first and the biggest, and where all space exploration started from.

Our technology was of a low level but we advanced quickly every day, learning a lot from the Nomai. Despite many living in small wooden houses, we built and kept stone buildings, often adapting from Nomai ruins.

Our wood was sturdy and durable, at least from certain trees we cultivated for such means. Most of it was used for our spaceships and structural parts in the villages, but was rare as it was hard to grow and even harder to cut. Most things were made with softer and more practical woods.

Although we had mines ourselves we used the old Nomai structures as a starting point 

We really didn't know the meaning of violence, I mean our species was extremely pacifist and we never had much trouble between ourselves. So there was never the need for violence.

We had farming and animal keeping. I remember some sort of small and stocky animal that looked like a sheep, with thick fur that we used for clothing. But most of our food was from farming, or fishing. We also kept small birds as pets.

On the Nomai:

Our language wasn't gendered, so translating Nomai text always had errors as theirs had gendered words. So we could see differences between two different words, despite being translated as one.

There were works in an effort to depict how they looked from their bones, but we always had trouble with soft parts. Finding statues and drawings actually helped solve that issue.

We didn't know a lot, unfortunately most of their culture and traditions had been lost. But architectural styles, technology and knowledge on space travel remained, alongside with new knowledge I collected with the translation tool.

Scenes and events:

Dying the first time. It was purely an accident. I had traveled to the moon, and did all my research and conversation there. From that point of view I saw the Nomai ruins in Timber Hearth, and set out to travel there. I landed and started exploring the mines, jumping from slope to slope, only the flashlight to illuminate the darkness and occasionally stopping to check for ghost matter. But I didn't expect the ground to fall beneath my feet, plunging me into the abyss. I survived the fall, hitting the jetpack at the very last instant, but before I could react I felt that burning, the last thing I remember is hitting the jetpack while grabbing the camera in an attempt to escape. Didn't even feel my death, at a certain point the burning got so intense it seemed to just disappear.

I woke up in shock, but as I looked around I deemed it just a dream. Mentioned that supposed dream to Slate, they just laughed and patted my back, saying something to ease my nerves. But still, when I approached Hornfels to get the codes, it was the same exact line from my supposed dream.

I think my second death happened in Brittle Hollow. I was exploring the surface, trying to uncover where Riebeck was, when the ground fell beneath my feet, plunging me into the black hole below. Being sucked into it felt almost like a deep dive, and I found myself on the other side of the wormhole. But from my HUD I saw the ship nearby, and having enough fuel to reach it I set for it. I entered and buckled off, ready to fly again when I saw through the window, that deep red sun. The thermometer was pointing to higher and higher temperatures, until it simply stopped working. That moment was when I saw the white, that rumbling noise, and the approaching hell. But I was at some distance, and there was nothing I could do to avoid it but simply waiting, hands having long left the controls.

When I woke up again, I needed time to truly realize what was going on. But still I carried on, went to the observatory and searched everything I could on supernovas. Not much there, but all pointed to being way too soon for it to happen.

There came a point where I didn't need to see the sun to know it was going to happen soon. Even in the darkest caves beneath a planet, I would feel that chill through my skin, the deep rumble that defied the notion of space not having sound, and that dread feeling. So I simply breathed in and carried on my tasks, simply waiting for the white and the heat. Honestly it didn't even hurt, the white and the end always came up before the heat could really hurt.

Every time I went to the Hourglass Twins, I made sure to watch the sun carefully. When it started heating and decreasing in size, I often would kill myself in some quick way, usually by puncturing the suit, so as to avoid the extreme heat. Being that close to the sun meant that I would experience the heat of that event, and I really hated it, the heat took too long to kill me and was extremely painful.

One time in Giant's Deep, I fell when trying to reach a slope into the water. But before I could reach land again, a tornado snatched the island away. I knew my ship was safe so tried to swim to where I estimated the island would land, only to look up as it was falling right over me, killing me instantly.

In Dark Bramble, exploring the strange places, I followed the white lights, only to see the anglerfish too late as it moved to eat me. The second time, I brought my ship to make travelling easier, but had to leave to repair a part of the cockpit. I thought I was safe, with enough distance from the giant fishes, only to look up from my job and see the massive mouth encroaching around me.

Took many attempts to reach the skeleton in Dark Bramble, and more than once I reached it with barely enough time to talk with Feldspat and explore. I asked them about the statue’s eyes being open. I really wanted them to be aware of the loop.

Gabbro was a breath of relief. They were someone I could talk to freely, they always remembered our conversations and offered tips on what to do next. I shared my discoveries and investigations with them, both eager to figure a way out. They were kinda my notebook.

Gabbro would get really excited to hear my tales of the Stranger's inhabitants, often musing alongside me. They wanted me to bring their music instruments to play.

Until the very last moment at the Eye, I truly thought I would manage to get out of this situation. I hoped that I would be able to stop the supernova, to rescue all travellers, and to return home. I hoped that life could go on. But staying at that campfire, I finally realized everything. So I looked one last time at all travellers and those I met during my journey, my friends, crying for the lives that were lost, for the life we could've had.

And I promised them we would meet again. In other life, in other universe.

My appearance and abilities were mostly based on the books, however personality was more like the movies.

There was that time period between Bilbo’s disappearance and Frodo leaving, where I took my time to help Gandalf. I remember meeting with him, and hunting Gollum together. It was a sorry sight and I wanted more than once to push my sword into him but Gandalf stopped me.

In our travels I asked Gandalf many questions about himself and all the other wizards, but stopped doing so after seeing that he never answered my questions. Definitely knew he wasn't human nor elf, but what exactly?

I knew of Tom Bombadil, although I think I never met him personally but had seen him in the distance more than once, and he had recognised me even if leaving quickly singing about how we weren't to meet yet. I recognised him with the 4 hobbits, and knew immediately they were the hobbits Gandalf had spoken off.

Meeting the hobbits in the inn for the first time in person was chaotic, they really didn't act their part of staying low profile, especially when Frodo had to slip in the damned ring. Also disliked Pippin right there, the kid had a loose tongue.

I met Frodo first when I warned him that Pippin was talking way too much, and later when I found them in their rooms after the whole thing. They were really suspicious of me and I just tried to crack the atmosphere into friendliness. But the inn master showed up with Gandalf’s letter and put everybody more stressed.

Spent some time trying to herd the hobbits into behaving. When I gave them weapons, Merry and Pippin thought it would be a good idea to have a duel right there. I had to stop them.

Even after so many days of travel, was still amazed at how much the hobbits ate. During the harsher trips they seemed able to reduce their intake but even then to levels compared to men. But when they had the possibility for a good meal, goddamn they devoured everything.

Of the hobbits, my favourite was Sam without a doubt. Always so respectful and helpful, offering a hand anytime. Merry and Pippin were very troublesome, but I had to give them props for their creativity and "thinking outside the box".

Legolas and Gimli did indeed get into little fights, and I usually let them enjoying the fun. But had to stop things from going too far more than once.

What I most thought interesting with Gandalf was how in his infinite wisdom, experience and age, he still was so tender and sweet, especially with the hobbits. He would make sure the hobbits were taking it well, and take his time to advise Frodo. However still screamed at them when they would do stupid things.

An older male sackboy with really light grayish skin, mechanical eye and a steampunk-ish right arm to replace one that I lost in a factory accident. Named Dash.

For most of the time I was dressed in a white top covering my zipper, jeans and hard hat. Had some tags and ‘tattoos’ on my body and clothing. Usually covered in dirt and oil stains.

I was mainly a steel worker and damn good at my job working for the Factory of a Better Tomorrow. Knew my way around heavy machinery and mechanics and sackbots. My presence when the Negativitron attacked the Factory was mainly in rallying the autobots and machines to defend the place, even doing my part in helping most of the main group of heroes escape.

I tended to be grumpy and moody but honestly most of my colleagues were as well. Was a really vocal communist that helped in unionizing the Factory workers and we even tried a revolution to overthrow Clyde. It didn’t really work and he remained as leader but ended up complying to our requests after we unionized.

Male. Tanned, round-ish face, kinda asiatic.Black hair on a side cut to my right. Dark stubble covering my face, with a small beard and mustache patch.

Always wore heavy clothing, kinda like what the rangers wore. And cowboy hats or faceless helmets.

Born with the Great Khans, used to call Bitter Springs home. Was away working as courier when that massacre happened.

Tended to be a suave talker, flirted with everybody even if didn’t mean it. Quite charismatic

Was kicked from casinos for cheating more than once.

Loved the heck out of Salsaparrilla, remember tasting the sweet flavour 

Was really curious about the old world and it's technologies and ways of living

Pretty good with a one-handed gun at close distance and with a weapon, often a machete. Took great pride in headshots

Taking the monorail to New Vegas, sitting in one of the benches with hands between my legs as I tried to make conversation with a NCR high ranking offici

Visiting the Silver Rush, taking a lot of time choosing, inspecting every weapon very carefully. Eventually the guards got bored of me and threw me out.

Petting a Bighorn, passing my hand through it’s big horn, giving it something to eat

In the Lucky 38, chatting with some friends and acquaintances. After acquiring it for myself I liked to open it sometimes for some hangout.

Sided with the Yes Man. Managed to convince the Khans to side with the NCR. It was the best option for survival.

I've made a treaty with the NCR. A bit after the whole deal ended. With a new president. And new times. Was happy to allow them in the land, I knew I wouldn't rule forever

Hearing ED-E beeping near me, all satisfied with something.

Openly flirted with Arcade, he went along just for fun.

Got really friendly with the Boomers, they were really willing to cooperate with me.

Honest Hearts:

Meeting Follow-Chalks, he wasn’t more than a teenager and super helpful and friendly, eager to listen to my tales. He loved my pip-boy and I would play it just for his amusement, he loved listening to the radio.

Joshua Graham was very weird, never talked a lot to him, didn't really like him. He accepted it without an issue. Daniel was a sweet man but we had lots of disagreements. I tried to argue with him but he was damn stubborn.

Old World Blues:

Spying the lobotomites through a sniper rifle or binoculars. When they weren't occupied they were quite sweet, playing with each other or with random objects. I remember bringing toys of all shapes and leaving them nearby so the lobotomites could play with them

Dead Money:

Dean acted very surprised when I told of other ghouls like him in the wasteland. Guess he considered himself as a stand-out. Later would met him again but in Vegas, at the Tops Casino.

I barely got in the Vault, just seeing all those gold bars in the table made me feel sick. Just turned around and left to deal with Elijah.

I would see Dean after it, in one of the big casinos in New Vegas.

Lonesome Road (DLC):

Sleeping in the Divide, using a wrecked building as shelter while trying my best to stay comfortable in my bedroll. The winds were noisy and barely slept that night.

Covering for shelter when I detonated the Aston missile. Got shitless scared that moment.

Scenes:

A cured Little Sister climbing to the vent and I put my hand on her to support her foot.

When rescued by Tennenbaun, I remember staying with the Little Sisters in her hideout. Playing with them.

Panic and fear when confronting Ryan, how I was crying despite keeping attacking and attacking. How I kept swinging the club until the bloodied corpse of that man laid on the floor, tears flowing down from my face despite my body continuing that action.

Was feeling tired so sat down next to a playing radio. At some point I started singing to it. Later a splicer appeared, I got ready to attack but he started singing with me.

Dancing to some music in Rapture. Started singing to it too and a splicer showed up, joining me in a dance.

Playing chess with a splicer. At some point they blamed me for cheating even though I wasn’t, and flipped out the board.

I saved most, if not all of the Little Sisters. However, stayed behind in Rapture. I felt it was my place, I wouldn’t really fit in anywhere else. So that became my city, my place to rule in some way, even amidst the chaos.

Some stuff on me:

Looked like as canon self. A pretty average guy in terms of skills, knew my way on conversations, mind and body. A pretty good shot

Despite my age and all the damage I had caused to my body, I was a damn good jogger. Kim always got behind me when we worked together because he couldn’t get to my level.

Partially communist, although not too vocal. Mainly was anti-fascist and a bit anti-libertarian. Called myself a moralist on a day-to-day basis, but would happily attend communist meetings and hangouts, although I told everyone these were just book clubs.

I remember being so interested in the Pale, even going so far as calling myself an amateur entroponeticist, having many conversations about this with different people. I even subscribed to a science magazine that specialized on this, although I stopped doing so after the divorce. Returned to it after the amnesia episode.

Collected postcards, had quite a collection, neatly organized into binders. It was the only hobby I took even when in my more depressive phases.

Random:

Partying in the abandoned church, after convincing the Ravers to not try cooking drugs and just stick to the nightclub. Had a good conversation about the whole experiment with Sonna.

Helped the cryptozoologist with the traps, and even after telling Kim I didn't believe it and was just helping them, I felt kinda hopeful. Also, the jogging around the shore was good.

I painted the wall. One night after Kim went off to sleep, I stopped by there and painted a large red mural. Wrote part of the motto of Dolores, specifically the part that used to be the motto of the RCM. Kim totally knew it was me but never said anything. “ "After life, death; after death, life again.”

Kim was amused with my political quests to organize communism, but every time he tried to comment on it I just told it was a cultured thing of reading books, not ridiculous politics.

Talked with the station’s lazareth, told him of my memory loss. And when he said it could be a fresh start, well I took it fully. I wanted a fresh start. And I cherished it. Thanked him and ended the call.

We had just finished interviewing the smoker on the balcony and were leaving his apartment. I just say out loud that he was pretty hot. Kim was walking behind me, kinda focused on his notes and completely choked on his spit.

Also, at the end when the case was pretty much solved and we were returning to our precincts, I said my goodbyes to Kim and before I could do anything he pulled me in (mind you, he never got physical before) and forced me to admit my feelings to him. He got it right, I was so flustered and red.

Kim’s attention and care was something that really pulled me out, and strengthened my attraction to him. Seeing him so worried about my health made me realize how much I adored him, but I feared he was doing it out of respect and not mutual feelings. Guess I was wrong.

The plasmid, it was a weird scene. I pinched myself many times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. Even looked behind for Kim, and he was as surprised as me.

When Kim learned I was trying to overcome my addiction to cigarettes he stopped smoking near me, even if it affected his whole nightly ritual.

He wasn’t circumcised. I remembered this when I saw some smut art that showed him as such.

Kim suker-punched some homophobic asshole and I cheered him loudly. He just remained silent and kept walking with me.

One time, after this case, we were hanging out somewhere in Revachol. There were some clothes stores by the street we were walking on, and I remember seeing a stupid-looking bright orange jacket in a store's window. Same color as Kim's jacket. I entered the store, he followed behind me slightly confused. I searched across the place, grabbed it and put it right on my shoulders. Pulled a pose, with a dumb grin, to him, he broke down laughing from it. Didn't let me buy the jacket tho

Had book clubs, actual meetings organized by the local communist chapter. Kim knew what it was but just didn’t comment. Some nights were actual book clubs, and he sometimes joined. There was an old lady there who always said we were a cute couple.

Kim and I shared a small apartment. Always filled to the brim with my postcards collections and magazines, and Kim’s plants. We both wanted a cat, but one of us was sadly allergic.

One day Jean came to me while I was at my desk, and said something on how he knew I could come up on top. I think it was his way to say he was proud of me in some way.
