nic found that hard to believe. a pirate stuck on land — not just any land, auradon land, of all places. “right, of course.” he replied with a nod. most bars knew what the vks could handle. if there was one thing they knew, it was good alcohol. none of the fruity, weak drinks they gave the heroes. watching the bartender move farther down and pour him another drink he shook his head. it was definitely obvious that nic was not happy to be in auradon. he made his feelings well known to those around him, and didn’t hold back when he was asked either. “that’s because i’m not.” he said bluntly. “and i’m not a good actor either. this place is worse than actual hell.”
he hummed at his answer, smirking as he took another sip of his drink. leland could take or leave auradon. the royals were the focus of most of his annoyance but without them he wouldn’t have acquired so many fine jewels. there were good and bad sides to it all but he had something far better in sights so he could tolerate the land for now. “ ‘tis annoying when they keep me from wearing my swords where i please.” currently his swords where resting in a barrel at the entrance of the bar that had been put there when vks started becoming regular patrons. “and i could do without tha prissy attitudes of all those stiff sods that think they’re better than us.”
