lost toy....

“Huh? Oh yeah, I’m good,” Harvey said with a nod, “Just lost in thought for a moment I guess.”

“Strange place to get lost isn’t it?” She said with a smile. Rummaging through her purse the blonde pulled out a piece of chocolate. “Here. It’ll help your thoughts.”

“I wasn’t actually listening anyway,” Arabella said with a shrug, “Why are you talking to a turtle?”

“I suppose I don’t.” Woody had to admit that the confidence in the girl next to him was something he wasn’t used to, but something he did find interesting. Turning into her drive way, he put the truck in park before getting out and opening her door for her. “Nice house you have here. Lived in it long?” He asked. 

She jumped out of the truck and walked to the door to open it for him to let him inside. “It is nice, thank you.” She shrugged. “I guess, I’ve lived her for sometime.” Bo walked in and turned on her lights. Bright lights filled her living room and stained glass glowed in her house. “You can hang your hat there if you want. Do you want anything to drink or eat, I’ve got a bunch of food in the house, too much wine and not enough beer.”

Harvey hadn’t stopped thinking about his experience at the beach since it happened. The feeling of being lost and wanting to protect his sister except it wasn’t his sister. He had thought of the name Gretel. Who was Gretel? He was looking around from where he was, almost as if he was trying to find her but knowing he wouldn’t. Then he realized someone was speaking, “Shoot, sorry. Were you talking to me?”

“Yes, yes, that’s very impressive,” Arabella said, nodding and then glancing toward the door, “Please tell me more.”

Following her directions, he turned at the light, laughing at her next question. “Suppose you could think that. Although, I’m pretty sure the good guys are usually doing something good with their times.” He commented. Turning again, he looked at her for a moment before answering her. “Nope, don’t really have anything going on.” 

“Good. Then you don’t have an excuse to not come inside when I invite you in.” She faced away from him again and smiled. Watching where he drove Bo pointed out the house with flowers. “That’s the one. Just park in the drive way and walk me to the door Sheriff. You can hang your hat next to the door when you come inside.” 

“You didn’t want to stop somewhere and  get some new shoes? Or even some more socks?” He asked, curious as to why she would still just wonder with nothing on her feet. 

“Now why would I do that. I’m almost home, I have plenty more shoes at home and I’m just too annoyed to stop.” She rolled her eyes as if it was the most obvious answer. 

There was a nod of his head as he continued down the street, waiting for further directions from her as they traveled. Hearing her question, he paused a moment before responding. “I was just out running some errands. Thinking about heading home for the night.” He answered. “Why? Think I’m up to not good?” 

“Turn left at the light.” Lifting a brow she eyed him from the side and smiled with a shrug. “Isn’t that what good looking guys like yourself are usually up too? No good.” She tucked a piece of hair behind her turning to face him better. “Second left and then a right when you can, house with flowers. You gotta head home right away Sheriff?”

Hearing her question, he laughed a bit before shaking his head. “Of course I am!” He replied, before jumping out of his truck and moving to open the door for her and letting her in before closing it. Popping back into the drivers seat, before he took off again. “So, where are we heading?” 

“That’s what I thought.” She said, a smirk forming on her lips. Hopping into the car Bo let out a small sigh and leaned back as if a weight was taken off of her. “Drive straight and I’ll tell you when you turn.” Looking over at the man she raised a brow, “where were you heading before stopping to put me out of my misery.”

“Company card?” he asked, genuinely impressed. “May I ask who is actually buying then?” He chuckled, pushing one of his hands into his pocket. “I guess I”ll forsake my pride and let you pay. Next time, though, I got the both of us.” 

“My boss....” She rocked back and forth on her toes. “I do the coffee run every other day and its just one of those things that I get to use my judgement on. And the way I see it is if I didn’t show up at this moment your coffee would have been fine. Therefore new coffee.” She smiled. “A next time?” Her voice raised in a confused question.

Seeing the familiar blonde walking down the street, it took him a moment before he realized that she didn’t have any shoes on, nor socks. Pulling up next to her in his truck, he leaned over and rolled down the passenger window. “Hey there,” He called out, pausing a moment to see if she heard him. “Need a ride?” 

“Hey there Sheriff.” She waved though it was short. Looking around for a moment she sighed and then nodded in defeat. “Yeah, that sounds nice.” Running over to his truck she paused at the passenger door and looked over at the man. “You gonna open the door for me or what?” 

“Are you always so prepared for situations like this?” he asked, taking the towel and bringing it to his shirt, dabbing it against the fabric of his top. He glanced up at her, a smirk on his face as he looked her over for a long moment before his attention moved back to the stain. “Another coffee would be nice. But I couldn’t let a beautiful lady like yourself pay for it.” 

“That I am.” her large bag rumbled with an array of items. “It’s comes with the job. You gotta be prepared for anything at any time.” Bo waved it off, “i’ve got the company card today. I technically am not buying, I’m just swiping the card.” She smiled brightly. “What do ya say?”

Bryce spotted the woman on the side of the road, looking rather fed up and well, bare foot. Pulling over he got out of his car and approached her, “Hey- are you okay? You don’t look lost but you look pretty fed up- has it been a day?”

She was startled slightly by the man and blinked. “Fed up is pretty good way to describe it.” the small blonde blew air between her lips and leaned on her hip. “The icing on the cake of my day is of course my shoes broke when I decided to walk. 

“Bo?” Kristoff called out of his truck window, “Are you okay? Do you need a ride home?” He asked his colleague with a somewhat concerned look on his face.

She looked to where her name was called and sighed with relief. “Oh I’m fine. My shoes just broke and of course it’s the one time I don’t have extras.” Bo laughed lightly. “Oh my gosh I would love a ride home.”

“I can see that,” Gage smirked, smiling back at her before letting his eyes drop down for a moment before meeting her gaze once more. “Much better than porcelain, I think.” He moved and grabbed some napkins, shaking his head as he started to pat against the liquid soaking through his top. “I’m fine,” he waved her off. “I’m just as strong as I appear.” 

She ignored the comment and reached into her bag to pull out a small towel. “Here, better then the napkins. Just because you’re strong as you appear doesn’t mean your shirt or those napkins are.” Bo smiled with a soft laugh. “If you want I can buy you another coffee. Can’t let you go on with the day without the good stuff.”

Magnus had been getting ready to close up his shop when he noticed someone walking by the window. What really surprised him was the fact that she had no shoes on. There was almost an overwhelming appalling feeling as he questioned how someone could look like that. Moving outside of his store, he paused a moment before deciding to speak. “Is there a reason you’re still walking with no shoes?” 

With a flip of her hair the blonde turned towards the man and without delay. “Because I want to.” She rolled her eyes and shook her head. “I need to get home okay, and just because I have broken shoes and wet socks doesn’t mean that has to stop me.” Bo sighed as if it was the most obvious answer.
