we have the tendency to measure ourselves as individuals based on metrics set by people we either don’t know at all (social media/celebrities) or don’t truly know themselves (friends/family). So let me express the importance of self-care and self-knowledge. in order for us to accept who we are, you first gotta learn to be ok with being YOU. Once you become one with all of your strengths and weaknesses you’ll slowly learn that half of the people in your life don’t even amount to you as an individual; internally. some of the ppl you think you can’t live a day without will turn into the same ppl you won’t want to live another day with.
