and I realized that this is the first ever instance of them holding hands in general. this game came out about 8 months before The Doonkelberry Imperative which is the first time they hold hands in the show

what did the game developers know…

I just want to know how they came up with the idea for them to hold hands in the game in general. because the way it turned out is very funny. like it already adds nothing to the gameplay but they REALLY focus on it for a while. they have them holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes at the beginning of the haunted dimension levels (the above pics) and then when all those are finished they’re still doing it

they hold hands throughout this entire cutscene and then when the 3 kids leave they just zoom in on them for a few seconds

Been listening to too much Phantom of the Opera so now I'm just picturing a whole Perryshmirtz parody where Perry is Christine, Heinz is the Phantom, and I don't really have an equivalent for Raoul.

Doof living underground somewhere in OWCA headquarters developing inators to conquer the Tri State Area and constantly reminding Monogram that he's still gotta pay the lease money for the building (cause somehow he's still a landlord here and Monogram hates it).

Perry is OWCA's top agent and nobody knows how he got to be that way cause he's extremely secretive about who his nemesis is.

Doof getting to wear the fancy hat and cape and half-mask of the Phantom while churning out music to a big fancy evil organ. He goes all out. At one point, Perry manages to rip away the half-mask and he reacts like he got hit with the Ugly-inator in that one episode (Doof doesn't have any facial deformities here it's just that really mean joke the universe likes to call him ugly).

Doof's evil plan is to drop the chandelier on Monogram during some awards ceremony because he plans to give himself an award that in his opinion should've gone to Perry.

Also Doof repurposed that log ride entrance with the singing animatronics Perry took in Lake Nose Monster to have more skulls and smoke machines and a much cooler boat for when he takes Perry down for a secret fling out of a gothic romance novel. Monogram keeps screaming that about 90% of the budget is being wasted on the evil aesthetic but Perry and everyone else in OWCA thinks it looks so much better now.
