It’s super interesting to see where the fictional narrative deviates and where it cuts close to the bone. Like almost every single character in the tv show is directly inspired by a real person. Only a few appear to be fictionalized entirely. And also, even as un-PC as the show is in places, you can see what they changed to make it more palatable to a modern audience. *If* (and it’s a big if) you have the energy for that sort of thing, it’s v interesting. And *some* of these women who actually went through it, I want to send love letters to for the rest of my life.

And I love you both too much, you sweet guys ❤!

These two sweethearts are so charming, lovable and blessed with such enormous talents ❤ … it blows my mind! They met as kids touring the vaudeville circuit and became lifelong friends. So sad, that they did not make a movie together …

In this awesome tap dance scene, which is one of my faves, Don is accompanied by his great choreographer Louis DaPron, known as “The Ace of Taps” because of the his almost incredible speed of steps. This scene also shows Don’s fantastic artistic skills …. He was always wonderful, regardless of his age! What an amazing talent … ❤
