High hopes

Do you know the feeling of wasting your life? Well I do.

I feel like I've wasted the best days of my life and it sucks. This summer everyone around me was going places, doing stuff, traveling abroad, having fun. And all I did was work. And that's okay, I get it. I have to work so I can pay rent, buy food etc. But I haven't been on holidays for the past 3 years now and I really need to go away for a while.

...Look at me..being a little brat not having the opportunity to go somewhere. The fact is that I don't need/want to go anywhere fancy. I just want to go. I want to experience things, try new food, meet new people. And when I find a place that I want to visit and tell my significant other about it, they don't listen. Cause the opinion or advice (or whatever) of their friends means more than what I would like to do. Even if I want to go on a road trip on a day when I have no obligations whatsoever and the weather is nice and everything seems just right…we don't go. And I get it. Sometimes they don't feel like it or don't have time or life is happening but I mean..we haven't been anywhere in two years.
