Watching interviews and seeing Henry's insta cardio vids sparked a thought ahaha. How do you think "cardio" with Henry in the morning will go during the times he has to train for the Witcher?

you wake up and roll over to some quiet shuffling as henry gets dressed for his run, his back to you just as he’s pulling his shirt over his head
“hen?” you mumble sleepily, punctuated with a yawn
he turns around and grins at how cozy you look burrowed under the covers and he caves
he lays back down next to you, pushing away the edge of the duvet so he can rub your sleepy smiling cheek and give you a warm kiss
“isn’t it nice down here ? stay here with me” you mumble, and he chuckles caressing the bump of your hip over the covers
“you know i’ve got to do the cardio” he says, but his lingering hands on your waist and fingers playing with the baby hairs at the edge of your hairline say otherwise
“hypothetical question for you, then” you tease, working more and more out of sleep
“oh, we’re also doing fasted thought experiments at 8am?” he grins but indulges you
“you, my dear, are committed to building your body to realistically support everything geralt has to do, yes?” you ask
he squints and gives you a suspicious smile, sensing a trap“sure”
“so, i don’t think dear old geralt would necessarily have a treadmill available to him and would need to be more creative… therefore, would it not be more accurate for you to do me? scientifically” he laughs loudly, body shaking the bed
“geralt can still have a quick jog in the woods, can’t he? the running is realistic” he teases, and you pout, making him laugh louder and kiss the pout away
“okay, okay, i hear you loud and clear” he kisses you again and you snake a hand out from the warmth of the duvet to caress his neck
“so is that a yes?” you ask, pulling on his earlobe lightly to tease playfully, knowing it was these little things that he found endearing and that got him going
“it’d have to be rough and last a long time to count, darling, are you saying you want me to rail you at 8 in the morning?” he asks in a thoughtful tone, but it’s just that contrast that really gets you hot
“you’re resisting a lot for someone who hates cardio. it’s 8pm somewhere, right?” you muse with pursed lips and he snorts a laugh
