On Thanksgiving Day, the Peanuts gang prepares a genuine holiday feast in Charlie Brown's backyard. As evening approaches, the backyard is transformed with long tables, autumn decorations, strings of lights, and a variety of homemade dishes prepared.
Franklin helps carry mashed potatoes to the table, while Peppermint Patty proudly presents freshly baked rolls despite having struggled in the kitchen earlier. "We actually can't stay very long."

He couldn't continue.
Tears poured down his face.
"I talked about this all day... I wanted everybody together..."
Unable to hold back any longer, Howard ran from the table crying.
Charlie Brown called after him.
Everyone fell silent.
Sofia looked heartbroken.
"Oh no... what have I done?"
Charlie Brown gently shook his head.
"You didn't do anything wrong."
Franklin sighed.
"Howard takes holidays very seriously."
Frieda quietly added,
"He built this whole day up in his imagination."

"I'd like to talk with him."

Howard looked at her.
