When Allah becomes more beloved to you than anything, all the world's pleasures will seem dull, underwhelming, meaningless. Nothing will compare.

Living moderately and choosing the middle is an islamic view, but what’s the “middle”? many chill with sins and call it “you gotta balance deen and dunya”. A balance is definitely the way to go, too much dunya you’ll get lost, too much deen you’ll exhaust yourself, but being at peace with sins is definitely not balanced, enjoying the pure things of dunya Allah made permissible for us and worship as best as you can in a maintainable way is the balance, you shouldn’t be at peace with a sin even if you’re stuck with it.

We live in a time where fornication is romanticized publicized normalized and promoted music blasting everywhere you go, stores cafes and parks, naked women and vile behaviors, kids deprived of their innocence with s * xual ads and s * xualized cartoons p * rn being shoved to your face everywhere on the internet and we’re supposed to be shy and “private” about religion? No I will not be private about religion because the existence of God annoys you. I will not turn down the volume of quraan while driving my car, I will drop anytime I need anywhere when it’s time to pray I will say the name of Allah جل وعلى وتبارك وتعالى anytime and anywhere. They want you to feel like a crazy weirdo for believing that a creation must have a creator

people find it unpleasant when someone comments over a wrong behavior they’re doing, some may even feel really annoyed or scared, and subhannallah i just thought, how are they scared of the reminder, and not the commander…

“you think you’re better than us?” no… but if sin annoys me and it does not annoy you i think i love God more than you

don’t try to fit in. you’re perfect as Allah intended you. you’re perfect obeying Allah and may the ill-hearted ones never be pleased with you.

crazy how some people think they’re doing you a favor by not playing music around you, ya 7abebi that’s sweet, i really hope you get rewarded for that and i pray that it’s heavy in your scale of good deeds in the judgement day, but i’m writing my book you’re writing your book if you do bad it’s bad you’re destroying your afterlife it’s not my biz wallah don’t do it for me do it for Allah if you don’t realize the severity of your act i sincerely cannot help you alhamdulillah la ilaha illa allah اللهم اعوذ بك ان اكون من الجاهلين

“yes but I need music to..” Take your strength from Allah, take your bravery and willpower, satisfaction and contentment, support and reassurance, excitement and motivation from Allah, don’t let music control you.

“how’s your life without music?” “it’s quiet, i enjoy things, and moments purely as they are, no delusions, no false emotions, it’s peaceful, and i can hear when Allah is calling”
