you get defensive when someone criticizes your favorite media/character/ship.

you insist people should "let you enjoy things".

you're against criticisms of any kind because fiction is "sacred".

you praise black/indigenous/disabled/lgbtq+ etc. representation.

you might as well not even be able to watch a scene because it's too gruesome or it reminds you of a past trauma.

you write fanfiction and/or draw fanart because you were affected by this piece of media, whether in a positive way or a negative way. maybe you project yourself onto a character or you imagine yourself interacting with them.

basically, you care about fiction. it affects you.
