Goodbye nice old neighbor

I’m kinda mean but my old neighbor is moving & I’m only glad because he is the old landlord of the place & will just randomly be in my yard sometimes or in my backyard (where he planted corn) or just walking to the house to the other side of me where his friend lives & he always wants to chat (rather wants me to vhat with him bc he’ll just stand there awkwardly unless you speak first).

My current landlord is moving into his house so that may be weird but at least he has a job & will be gone during the day, but I still hate living somewhere where the outside area is isn’t private. That’s the whole reason we wanted a house & we should just be grateful but it’s so annoying when I just wanna sit peacefully but I cannot ever relax because I always feel like someone is watching me or about to come up to me.

learning to let go and learning to relax means just freaking sticking those stickers on something. stop worrying if it’s the right place. burn that nice candle you’ve had for a year. it doesn’t need a special occasion. I’m gonna use those fancy soaps I’ve been collecting in a drawer even though they look so pretty and it means I’ll use them up. everything is temporary so just enjoy the littlest pleasures you can possibly have we all need to just let go and enjoy things while they last. the sticker’s gonna look fine on your water bottle I promise
