[ID: A comic about Amy from Sonic the hedgehog, drawn with thick lines and sharp colors. "Like Me -- by MaightyMai" Modern Amy bends down to smile at her Classic self, who looks at her with awe.
Little Amy: Have we reached our dreams?
Big Amy: Well, /I/ certainly have!
Little Amy: Do we get stronger?
Big Amy: More than you can imagine!
Little Amy: Do we have friends?
Big Amy: So many!
Little Amy: Do we go on adventures?
Big Amy: All the time!
Little Amy gets more and more excited. She reaches out for Big Amy's hand.
Little Amy: Oh I'm so excited to grow up!!! Tell me, what do I have to do to be like you?
Big Amy takes on a manic expression as thorny vines appear behind her.
Big Amy: Simple, you just need to /change/. As of now you're way too…
Words appear, covering up Little Amy, tugging at her skirt. A smiling ghost of Big Amy appears in her shadow. "Loud, clingy, childish, tacky, weak, chubby (desperate, annoying, weird, dumb)"
Big Amy: Do that and you'll be like me!
She opens her eyes and flinches at the expression she sees on her other self, then draws inward, indignant, as thorns spiral behind her.
Big Amy: Don't look at me like that!
Big Amy: I did it all for us! I /changed/ for /you/! They all like me better now.
Big Amy: And if they don't I'll just change myself until they do.
She turns away, and the thorns form a heart as they threaten to cage her.
Little Amy cries hard, her head in her hands. Roses bloom behind her. She stops and lifts her head, ribbon streaming behind her.
Amy stops and turns to look behind her, but there's no one there except for the echo of a ribbon.
