PuppetVision: The Movie

Getting ready to film one of the final performances of Mochinosha / The Wishes Mystical Puppet Company’s “Debris” at the Toronto Fringe Festival for the PuppetVision documentary over the weekend. Puppeteers Daniel Wishes and Seri Yanai are touring across Canada; you can see them next in Winnipeg, Manitoba performing their shadow show "Oni" at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

Sometimes, as a fun exercise, Andrew likes to sketch & re-interpret the work of other puppet makers and character designers whose work we discover. Above (top) is a recent sketch of a goofy looking bear with the original puppet by Spanish puppet maker Alejandro Ramon below it. 

Cold, snowy days are some of the best days to stay inside the studio.
