I will not get used it. Not for any moral, purity of the human soul or whatever reason, but because this thing is basically stealing jobs and intelligence without consequences. And capitalism wants this to function because capitalism only worked when workers were not paid. In other words, in order to work, capitalism needs slavery. AI doesn't complain. Draw your own conclusions as to why corps are pushing it so hard and why AI is destructive in every possible way and why we must not accept it and must keep calling it slop. It's valuing human life. In the way Miyazaki said it. He didn't mean 'abomination' in an ableist way, he was thinking of a disabled friend when he said that because someone was trying to sell him AI (didn't work) by showing some quote unquote crazy body movements that he'd seen this friend do that AI could do and humans couldn't. It's fine to use AI for personal use, but relying on it completely is unproductive and destructive because it'll destroy your autonomy and poison your mind. But expressing discontent over corporations pushing it protecting human life because they want to push it because it's a one and done payment and it doesn't complain or has feelings and needs like humans do. You're helping everyone by not accepting AI. We're finally accepting that the internet needs to be balanced with real life and now this thing appears full force and they want to push it because they're lost in greed. We can't let that happen. We have to start the fight against it before it takes deep roots. It can still exist, thinking we can ban it completely is unrealistic, BUT it has to be in a balanced way and it has to be controlled and laws have to be passed to protect literally everyone.

We need to accept mistakes as human. We need to ditch perfection. AI and impeccable grammar is not human or perfect, either. Because even perfection is not perfect because it feels unnatural. Nature isn't perfect. It's beautiful because it's imperfect. It's hard to accept that, and it's a daily practice to accept that, but these are my two cents. Maybe I'm wrong, and that's fine. I'm open to being corrected. Yelling and screaming doesn't get us anywhere. That's what I think. That's always what I've thought, but I had to really fall hard and find footing to see that. Value human life, value human work for the right reasons. Protect human rights for the right reasons. Not just because AI stole your art or your job. I'm saying this from the point of view of a languages major, too, more than as someone who writes as a hobby and would love to do it professionally. I'm directly affected.
