Magnolia Botanical Garden

"Magnolia Botanical Garden is a historic park where Willow Creek inhabitants from all walks of life can come together to enjoy nature in a lush, green environment."

Finally finished a park lot for Willow Creek for my legacy save! Made with picturesque gameplay in mind, the park includes:

a topiary hedge garden

fountain water features

a conservatory filled with plants

a playground for children & toddlers

a gazebo perfect for a birthday picnic

table games

and other little 100% functional corners to play and take pretty pictures

Playtested with no CC.

This park is perfect for photoshoots. Every corner you turn is full of lush greenery and flowers, without too much visual clutter. It works just as intended, with visiting townies using all amenities and benches.

P.S. Looks gorgeous in the evening light and at night! Could easily be transformed into a indoor or outdoor wedding venue.

Originally dating back to the 1920’s, it was one of simnation’s first official gas stations. After prohibition a tavern was added, then in the 1940’s it was converted to an official bar and has remained so ever since. Favorite venue for Oasis Springs local music and the biker bar scene. Created for a sweet simmer on insta for her sims story

Highly recommend downloading a cc pool table and some cc motorcycles and replacing the cars out front to really capture the biker bar aesthetic!

in such a well-kept neighborhood, it takes a place for the ladies (and gentlemen) to hang out, not too snobbish but not inelegant either!

Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!

Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences.

Basic Rules:

Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.

The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.

Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.

You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.

Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Keep the lifespan on normal.

My good friend @alwaysimming​ and I kind of created this challenge on accident, but I think it turned out pretty great. We wanted to make something that forced us to play with parts of the game we’ve never explored before. Hopefully you’ll have fun too. Cellphone Default Replacement

Anyone in the mood for a new phone? 

This default replaces the maxis cellphone with a more modern smartphone. The phone has two recolorable subsets, and I made 17 options for the screen [swatch] and 14 options for the cover [swatch]. Recolors come in clearly named, separate files so it should be easy to delete the ones you don’t like :)

The smartphone costs 300§ so it’s more expensive than the original cellphone, but hopefully still affordable enough. I also made it buyable from the catalog, where it’s under small electronics and available on community lots as well. Getting one from there won’t satisfy the want for buying a cellphone as it is, but this default should be compatible with these mods by Cyjon. Just make sure that my file loads after those!

Download (SFS) (alternate) - University is required. Only have one default for phones in your game at a time. Everything is compressed and swatches are included.

And in case someone wants to personalize their sim’s phone even further, I uploaded the PSD here! So they can have a pic of their loved one, or their children, or their pet as a background image… or a pic of something.
