It's all around the world just la la la la la

I used to sleep every night fully dressed, with my head covered. Only my hands, feet, and face were visible. I was afraid the place would be bombed while we slept, and that I would die with my body exposed. Death itself was not the scariest part. I lived this fear every single day for two years of war. I survived, but my city Gaza lost more than 72,000 people, and over 175,000 were injured.

The nightmares don’t stop. The images are still in my head. Sometimes I cry alone and go through waves of depression, but I try to stay strong for my four children and my husband.
