Why do people think that Kirk is a pretty boy who only gets stuff done because of his looks and is just a womaniser? Kirk is so much more than that. He isn’t some “all brawn no brains” kind of guy. He’s a bloody starship captain! He didn’t get promoted to captain because he was good looking. He was promoted to captain because he worked hard for it and proved that he had the intelligence and qualities that are needed to be a good starship captain.

After a moment's hesitation, Niles nodded. "There's a type of lonely that doesn't always go away when you aren't alone." He said softly, his eyes locked on the ground.

Niles smiled, though he shook his head. “It wasn’t the same, you know. I loved her, she didn’t love me. You love people, but you love the idols you create of them more!” He insisted.

“What did you do last time you met her at the Writer’s Workshop?” The radio psychiatrist paced the living room. “The same, am I wrong?” 

"That was different!" Niles defended, crossing his arms. "I was married to her! I thought I knew her. I thought I loved her."
