Yandere that enjoys having a willing darling, but their darling is absolutely a feral beast that they’re kind of scared of.
They attempt to go check on you where you’ve been locked up in the basement, but you’re standing by the stairs in the dark, wide eyes bloodshot and nails digging into the wall.
Absolutely not, yandere slams the door and almost pisses their pants.
You kind of haunt the house. Yandere still loves you but you’ve somehow become more unhinged than them. Too many times they’ve tried to intimidate you but you’ve started growling like a rabid dog. How are they supposed to deal with that?

We know that Zayne is 27, Valko is 26, and Caleb is 25. Considering Zayne prolly stayed away from Linkon from Primary to,,, maybe Uni? Caleb also moved away to study, and Valko... Well, we don't know but indulge me on this.
WHAT IF THEY ATTENDED THE SAME UNIVERSITY?
Like it was on accident, since the 3 of them are rlly smart n talented, they were able to attend the top university of the world or something.
They're all in different fields but it's still in STEM, and they probably share the same location, if not the same building (probably not tho).
Zayne first arrived and he's amazing, top student in Science, etc. In his 2nd year, he made friends (maybe thru competition or whatever) with a Technology student, Valko. Two years after that, he finds a familiar name on top of the Engineering leaderboard, specifically in Aerospace and Aviation: Caleb, who was on his 2nd year by then.
Zayne is on his 4th year but since he's medical field,,, 8 years to graduate, I think? Valko's on his 3rd year.
Before Caleb, Zayne and Valko would just pass by each other, say hi, maybe nod at each other, but never really hang out. Until Caleb.
Apparently Valko has been chatting up both upper and lowerclassmens, making friends everywhere, and Caleb fits his vibe so they quickly became friends. After Zayne and Caleb rekindled, Caleb invites both seniors out to drink. One night, Zayne ended up super drunk and the three stumble their way to Zayne's dorm room. Making sure he doesn't die, the other two slept over, and that bonding experience has changed the status of their friendship ever since.
I imagine midterms and finals week are the most fun, because it's 3 super smart geniuses trying to not die from over-studying, and it actually helps because being with each other helps with their nerves. They go to Zayne's room, bc it's clean.
It's also cute because there's no competition. No one's beating anyone. They can be the top students of their respective fields, so there's no friendship-breaking pressure to win against one another.
Imagine a yandere! stalker that makes life seemingly go in your favour.
Big project coming up and nobody's cooperating? Suddenly, the next time you step past the door to your job, it's done. An award or promotion is given out? You're the one to be chosen.
It's alarming at first but then your answer appears soon enough, going through your apartment quietly and barely noticing that you've arrived home, or maybe he does and doesn't care, you don't know.
He doesn't seem the slightest bit scared when he does notice you, only skimming through your important files.
You're pissed, confused and terrified at the same time. "W-who are you?"
"The name's Lucas," he says. "How's work?"
"I-it was fine..." you reply, keeping a safe distance from him.
He walks towards you, but you walk away. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm the one helping you all this time after all."
Thinking about yandere!injured man that you rescue.
cw/tags: yandere, m!yandere x gn!reader, isolation, codependency, kidnapping, sfw but account is 18+/MDNI
You see him one night on your way home, collapsed in the street. You almost don’t notice that his shabby clothes are soaked through with blood because of the rain pouring down on him.
You should keep walking. Everyone else does. You barely have enough coin to feed yourself, and who knows where he came from. He could be a criminal, fled from the kingdom cells. He probably won’t be able to attack you in this state, but who knows.
He looks young. Around your age, a man grown, but still. He looks so downtrodden, so miserable, his light brown curls falling over his face like he’s a poor little kitten.
It’s stupid to take him in, but it’s evil to leave him to die. You’re a fool and a bleeding heart, because you drag him halfway across town to your tiny home. The area is even rougher than where you’d found him, but he should be safe inside, as long as he makes it through the night.
Mercifully, he does. The man doesn’t wake up, however, but his fever breaks, so the dressings you’ve put on his wounds and the concoction you gave him seem to be working.
He sleeps for two days and pulls a kitchen knife on you the first time he wakes. He can barely stand, let alone fight, and he drops it and passes out immediately after. You consider kicking him out. You can’t bring yourself to do it.
He looks peaceful while he rests. Gentle, almost, his bangs falling over his smooth, olive brown skin. You find yourself thinking that he looks like a pretty sculpture, lying there in your cot. He is slender but not starved like most in this town, so you figure he must be the son of a merchant or trader.
He’s calmer, the next time he wakes. You’re in the middle of cooking some stew when he does, and it takes a few minutes before you feel the eyes on your back.
“Hello,” he says. His voice is smoother than you imagined.
You turn to face him, hands against the counter. You’re close enough to grab a knife if you need it. You hope you won’t. “Hi. Know what happened to you?”
He pauses for a moment, looking around. Your home isn’t very big, so there isn’t much to look at. The cot is practically in the kitchen, which is also next to the door. “I was running. How did I end up…here?”
He motions at your raggedy place.
You resist the urge to roll your eyes. “Running, huh…I found you, across town. People were stepping over you.”
The man tries to stand, but groans and immediately sits back on the cot, gripping the sheets. The next words come out pained. “You nursed me. Why?”
You almost laugh. “You looked like a kitten.”
He furrows his brows. “Most men wouldn’t enjoy such a comparison.”
“Apparently. Would you like something to eat?”
You have to feed him spoonfuls, and he looks spiteful at his own body, but he lets you do it. He’s quiet, mostly, but not ungrateful. He says his ‘pleases’ and his ‘thank yous’ without fail, although he won’t mention where he’s from or where he’ll go.
You notice now, with him staring at you, that he has purple eyes, the kind reserved almost solely for the bloodline of the royal family. Most common people know nothing of the lords and ladies who govern, but everyone knows the royals have purple eyes.
A wayward prince or two has been known to sire bastards in the towns closest to the capital, like your own. You wonder if this man had been housed by his lord father and now cast out at the behest of his lady wife. It would explain him being well-fed with nowhere to turn in his injured state.
There’s been turmoil in the capital recently, although not much news gets to you here. You don’t much care for the royals or their ongoings, so it doesn’t matter if one brat or another sits the throne. You only care if there will be enough grain to feed you for the upcoming winter.
You don’t bother asking him. Most bastards are touchy about their parentage. Not like orphans. You never knew your parents, so maybe that was why. He’d had a taste of a life that was just out of reach. You couldn’t even imagine such a thing.
You figure he wouldn’t tell you, anyway. You don’t know what any of the royals look like, aside from the eyes, but they seem confirmation enough. You wonder if he looks like his father. He is pretty. The bard who sings at the local tavern says all princes and princesses are pretty.
His recovery is slow but steady. You have to leave most days to fish or sell your herbs at the market, but he manages himself.
Some days, you force yourself to stay in. When the red cloaks flood the village, it spells nothing but trouble. You wonder what they’re here for. Sometimes they look for criminals, but most times it feels like they’ve been sent only to strike fear into your hearts.
The man looks worried when you tell him they come; you desperately hope he’s not the one they’re searching for. It would be a swift execution for you, harbouring a criminal. Especially one important to the crown.
You don’t ask. He doesn’t tell you.
He does tell you his name, after the you start calling him “man” to his face. He tells you to call him Indra.
He doesn’t leave and you don’t ask him to.
You and Indra begin a life together, against the odds. You bring home fish and he cooks dinner. When he feels well enough, he comes into the forest to collect herbs with you. The two of you eat every meal together.
It’s…nice.
You’ve been on your own so long, you forgot what it felt like to come home to someone at the end of your day. He listens when you tell him about the rude merchant or kind older woman you encountered. He asks about where you’re from and if you’re happy in this life. He doesn’t pry when you shrug. He smiles when you tell him that it’s better now that you have a companion.
His face is even prettier when he smiles.
He sings to you when you can’t sleep, his voice pretty and soothing. He tells you stories you’ve never heard before, tales from far away lands. He laughs at your jokes, and tells you he enjoys your way of life.
He gets upset when you tell him about the tavern: the drinks, your friends, the men and women who approach you flirtatiously. You suspect he’s envious of your freedom.
You ask him to come. He refuses. You don’t pry. Your life together goes on.
It seems natural, the first time he kisses you. You put your hand on his chest and he gasps and you think you’ve caused him pain until he pushes himself entirely against your body.
The sex is only another part of your life together, after that. He is gentle, but passionate, when he touches you. His kisses litter your body and his flesh is always hot against your own.
Soon, you spend less nights meeting up with friends at the tavern and more sleeping with him. Some days it feels like all it takes is for his robe to dip from his shoulders, and your plans are abandoned.
It’s been nearly half a season when you notice his roots begin to grow in. A dark, raven colour.
This time, you ask. He doesn’t answer.
You fight and you yell and remind him that you never ask for anything. You share your home and your body and you only want him to be honest with you.
He doesn’t yell. He leaves. You don’t know where he goes.
You don’t sleep that night. You wonder if he’s gone for good. If you’ve squandered the only good thing fate has ever given you.
He comes back the next morning, before you plan to leave. He’s written you a letter, he says.
You tell him you can’t read. He reads it for you.
He hugs you. You apologize. You never get your answer.
You let it go.
This life is enough.
Your friends seem to disappear entirely. You haven’t spotted even one of them recently, and when you ask around, most have said the same. Your neighbour tells you they probably fled, because of how much the red cloaks have been brutalizing the village. She tells you that you should leave too.
You can’t. What if he doesn’t follow?
You want to stay here. To stay in this small house, with your companion. You wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Even when you know nothing about him.
It starts off small. An irritation like a fly buzzing around your head. It grows. It burns in your brain. You don’t know where he was born or who his parents are. You don’t know how he became injured or ended up on your doorstep. You don’t even know if Indra is his real name.
He is a stranger here and he will remain a stranger until he flees. You know it to be true.
You don’t ask him not to leave. He doesn’t tell you he won’t.
You don’t have anyone else left. Even your neighbour packs up her things and goes. She tells you the town is full of ghosts that she cannot escape.
One day you return, and he’s not there. It’s a good thing, you tell yourself. He lies. He brings trouble to your doorstep.
You search for him anyway.
You see him out in the sunlight for the first time.
He speaks to a red cloak. When he notices you, he turns and points straight at you.
You have only a moment for the betrayal to sting before you start to run. He will tell them you stole him away at worst, helped him at best. Perhaps he will say that his crimes are your own. It won’t matter. The neighbour’s son had been hanged last year on this very street for less. He may have been a bastard, but he still had royal blood.
You were no one.
It isn’t the red cloaks that find you in the forest. It’s Indra.
He doesn’t ask you not to run. You don’t tell him you won’t.
“Where are you going, my dearest?” He asks.
He chases you through the forest, his purple eyes wide and wild. He’s healed enough for it now. You sprint for a different path toward the edge of town. An armoured hand reaches out and grabs you, leaving you to tumble to the ground.
“Handle them with care,” Indra yells as he catches up to you.
The red cloak pulls you up onto your feet. “Yes, my prince,” he says.
You look at Indra. He looks at you.
He is a stranger. A prince, apparently.
You try to run. You should have done it months ago, the first time he lied or hid himself away. The red cloak doesn’t let you.
Indra asks you to behave. You don’t agree.
He tells the guard to bind your wrists. He apologizes. You ignore him.
Indra doesn’t bother to let you take anything from your home. He coos at you and promises that it’s unsafe.
His uncle tried to usurp his throne, he tells you. He had to pretend, to hide away for some time. His uncle is dead now, but his supporters still run amuck. You will return to the castle with him.
He apologizes for deceiving you.
You tell him to let you go. He ignores you.
Indra is different, the next time you see him. He is dressed in lavish purple silks, a hibiscus flower in his hair, now fully dark. He carries a sword at his side.
The man who cooked dinner for you and told you of his favourite fables is a distant dream.
Indra is a stranger.
He won’t let you go.
You are given a room that you cannot leave. Food at every meal. Nothing but time to stare out the window and look over the city.
You feel your muscles atrophy.
You want to fish. You want to walk the forest and gather your herbs. You want to sell them at the market, to speak with your neighbours and visit friends at the tavern. You suspect most of them are dead, now. How long has he been ordering his red cloaks around?
You want Indra to cook dinner for you. You want to eat it in your small, ramshackle home.
He doesn’t eat with you now.
A member of the royal family takes his meals at court. A peasant isn’t allowed anywhere near there, even someone favoured by the crown prince.
Indra visits you as much as he can.
He talks to you. You ignore him.
He won’t let you leave.
He sings you to sleep. Watches you as you do. Presses kisses to your head that feel like burns.
He keeps you here. His own pet, caged in his castle.
He goes free. He is a prince. He is not your Indra. He is a stranger.

Summary: It has been a long time now since you've been stuck on the ship with the...thing, Atom, as it likes to call itself. We could say you adapted, after all that's what humans always do..you accepted the fact you're gonna end your days here...right?
Ship: Genderless!Reader x Atom

Hope y'all enjoy my poor word choices and weird storytelling...)
Being watched is a strange feeling. Truly, I read not so long ago that humans aren't able to truly sense if someone is watching them. It's basically all in your head.
Yet when things change so much in your environment, your way of seeing them changes too. If before it was only an impression, a paranoia created by my own fears of the unknown-of the darkness lurking in the corners...now I know that it's the pure and harsh reality. It took me a while to truly understand that no matter how far I force Atom to be, they'll always be there. I find it fascinating. Horrifying...but also fascinating.
Sometimes it almost comforts me. It may be this thing's manipulation starting to work on me. But when I feel alone, it feels good to know that I never truly am. Maybe it's only what I'm telling myself so I don't go crazy, but I'd like to believe it without thinking too much about it for now.
I don't really know how many days it's been since I'm stuck here, how many weeks...perhaps years? At first, I tried to keep track of the time by basing it on my sleep. But without all my responsibilities, I soon found myself oversleeping or staying up late watching space slowly drift by, and with the stars that disappeared behind the ship, so did my notion of time.
That morning I woke up early-well, early surely isn't the right word-but I knew it was earlier than usual when what welcomed my slowly awakening consciousness was Atom's silhouette leaning over my bed. They know that I hate when they watch me sleep, so they quickly learned to hide when I'm about to wake up. But visibly they weren't fast enough this time.
_"Urghhh..."
I groaned like I was in agony as the suit in front of me jumped in surprise before frantically waving their arms in panic, not even noticing how their head violently hit the low ceiling on top of my bed.
_"Luna! Luna? You're awake? I'm sorry! I didn't mean- you don't want me to follow the rhythm of your breath so-"
They spat the words out as fast as they could while straightening up, visibly hesitating between the joy of seeing me awake and the fear that I might be mad.
_"...shut up...I just woke up."
I cut them off while rubbing my face to avoid falling back asleep.
_"You did!"-they answered with way too much joy in their voice-"It is actually good news! The human can do the best while having 10 hours of sleep maximum!"
They said while "inflating" their bust, proud of their knowledge. I ignored that-not even questioning if what they had just said was true-and slowly sat down on my bed-putting my blanket aside.-
_"What's for breakfast today?"
_"Eggs and toast! I trained to make egg all night for Luna!"
The thought of filling my stomach put a slight smile on my face, and I got out of bed. After a quick fight to get Atom to stop paying attention to my room while I got dressed, I walked out in the corridors, the familiar sound of my boots hitting the metallic floor filling them, soon followed by the sound of Atom running to join me.
As they got closer, the urge to run away filled every ounce of my body, but it was useless. There was no way out of here. My only chance was the day I met them, and I didn't take it in time.
_"Luna?"
I slightly jumped as I realized they were now next to me-on an oddly synchronized pace. A bit on edge, I sped up.
_"For the I-stopped-counting-a-long-time-ago's, it's Y/N. Not Luna."
I sighed angrily. I didn't even give them a glance, yet I could easily guess they were wondering what they had done to anger me this time.
_"Oh! Yes...Y/N."
They added as they caught up to me once again.
_"I'm sure you're gonna love the egg! I trained very hard!"
_"Hm-hm."
And that was the only answer I gave them for all the next attempts they made to pull me out of my anger for the rest of the way to the kitchen.
Once there, I immediately noticed another Atom using the stove to cook some eggs, two pieces of toast positioned on a plate next to them. For a second I wondered if I was in a dream before remembering that Atom was, in fact, not human. I tend to forget that I'm the hostage of an eldritch entity, and I'm surprised by that myself.
Both of their helmets were turned in my direction, which was odd considering one of them was supposed to be cooking.
_"Sit down!"
They said together joyfully as I pulled out a chair. For a second I saw Kiara once again, complaining about some problems she had back on Earth. I quickly pushed her out of my mind, trying to focus on whatever Atom had started to yap about, yet the thought became louder and louder as I tried to ignore it.
I miss her.
What's happening with me today? Did I wake up on the wrong foot?
I miss all of them.
I stared into the void for a bit as the weight of that thought made my shoulders drop.
How ironic is that? I can't remember the number of times I wished they would leave me alone, or for this job to finish faster. Yet... I never really wanted them dead. Not like that, at least. I'm not sad enough to break down crying thinking about their deaths, yet I'm not neutral enough about it to avoid feeling slightly uneasy either.
I was finally pulled out of my thoughts by a plate full of eggs and toast being placed in front of me.
_"And that's where I existed!"
_"Eh?"
_"You know! You told how you existed. I existed the same way!"
_"How I... existed?"
I asked, trying to understand the context I had missed. The nonsensical blabbering of Atom would surely feel better than thinking about already dead assholes.
_"I think you say... born!"
I raised an eyebrow. Atom never really talked about their past, except when it was to explain how many things they had done just to find me.
_"You remember when you were born?"
_"Of course! I remember anything!.. almost.. mostly things about you though!"
They giggled. I didn't. Instead, questions started popping up in my head like water flowing from a new spring. Seeing my expression of genuine curiosity, Atom sat down in front of me.
_"Luna didn't know I remembered?"
They asked, simply happy to have an opportunity to talk with me.
_"No, I mean... I didn't think you were..."
_"Born? Everything born! Everything dies!"
_"I guess. You just seem so... powerful. Like some sort of mysterious entity we talk about in legends."
_"Thank you, Luna, I'm embarrassed!"
They answered, covering their visor like they were able to blush.
_"I didn't mean- Whatever... you said you remember where?"
_"I do! Yes! Luna's interested about me?"
I finally picked up one of my pieces of toast to take a bite. The taste was slightly off, but it was way better than the first ones they made. As I swallowed the food, I nodded.
_"Kinda."
_"I was born on a green planet, very small- and-"
They stopped. The suit completely froze in place in an almost unnatural way, and for a second I almost thought I could see little movements from inside it.
_"It's not far actually!"
They exclaimed, their "body" regaining life like a video unpaused. Their words took some time before truly sinking in.
_"...Not far?"
I repeated, unsure of what those words implied and not daring to guess myself.
_"Yes, close! A few thousands away. Are the egg and toast good?"
The last words didn't even reach my brain as I finally realized what this meant.
Could that... could that perhaps be an opportunity for me to... escape?
Even thinking it felt weird, like something that was just unnatural, impossible.
But I didn't let those feelings get the best of me. Instead, I replayed what Atom had said in my head.
A green planet.
Green means life.
And life means resources!
It's perhaps... no... surely colonized by humans!
I could get some help!
Get out of this gold-covered hell!
I just needed to convince them to bring me there. After all, they loved having my attention... right?
_"Actually I'm very curious about where you were born, Atom."
I insisted, pushing the plate to the side to focus on them.
_"You...? About... me?"
I noticed their hand weirdly starting to vibrate with excitement. Before I could add anything, they kept going.
_"It's a very little planet, I have seen way bigger ones while looking for you! Lots of plant! Green! Everywhere!"
This time it was my turn to cut them off.
I couldn't wait any longer to try.
Couldn't wait for them to change the subject.
Couldn't wait like I did long ago.
_"Oh wow, that sounds amazing. I'd love to see it myself!"
I said. The words spilled out of my mouth like a river.
Wait.
My tone sounded weird, right?
Did my voice too?
They froze.
I froze too.
Was that too obvious?
Not subtle enough?
Did they immediately guess what I was trying to do?
I can never know with them.
For a few seconds, silence filled the place, and it felt like the whole ship had stopped to think too.

Imagine being the childhood friend of the popular playboy in school.
He wasn’t just a typical playboy—he was popular for a good amount of reasons. He was, of course, hot, tall, with a pretty face, but he also had that effortless charisma. Easy-going, charming, funny when he wanted to be, and somehow still managed to keep decent grades. A good reputation wrapped in the kind of smile that made girls melt.
The only problem? His ongoing roster of girls. You honestly couldn’t pinpoint when or how he turned into such a flirt, it sort of just... happened. Maybe when high school hit, and puberty did him more favors than most. Whatever the case, he became that guy. The one you’d usually only see in dramas.
But it’s not like you had any business with that part of him. At least, that’s what you told yourself.
You two had always been close. Childhood friends. Neighbors. Playmates since you were practically in diapers. Your parents knew each other well, your families comfortable enough to arrange sleepovers that turned into routine. You grew up in each other’s houses, like siblings. Always “the duo.”
But while he bloomed into the guy everyone wanted to be around, you... didn’t exactly shine the same way. You were a little plain. A bit on the bland side compared to others, especially compared to him. While he stood tall, you were shorter than average, often overlooked in group photos. You didn’t have much of a figure either, which made changing in the locker room a quiet kind of dread. Flat and forgettable. You’d never say it out loud, but you noticed the difference.
He lit up every room he walked into. You were just... there. Next to him. Always next to him. Just not quite enough.
But it was fine.
You never made a big deal about any of it. It’s not like you wanted the spotlight anyway. You were comfortable being in the background, comfortable not having all eyes on you. Sure, sometimes you got a few questionable looks when you were with Mr. Charming, but you learned not to care. Let them wonder. You were used to being the quiet one beside the star of the show.
Though, truth be told, you sometimes wondered too. Why did he always stick around? Even when the popular kids were constantly egging him on to ditch you and join them, he never really did. He’d flirt and play around, sure, but he always came back to you. As if none of the sparkle out there was worth trading for late-night game sessions and instant noodles in your room.
"Geez, why’re you in my bedroom...? I thought you were about to go to the concert with them," you asked one evening, raising a brow as he sprawled across your bed like it was his.
“Nuh-uh. Don’t wanna,” he replied, eyes already glued to the game controller in his hand. “Plus, I wanna spend time playing games with you.”
You rolled your eyes at the time, but deep down, your chest tightened just a little. Warm and confused all at once.
It was things like that, small, innocent moments that led to the never-ending question you kept hearing from people.
“Are you guys dating?”
You always shut it down quickly, automatically, almost on instinct now.
“No. Definitely not. I’m not his type, we’re just friends.”
Because that was the truth, right?
Right?
***
He heard you say it all the time.
“We’re just friends.”
You said it so naturally, like breathing. Like it was a fact. Like it didn’t chip away at something in him every time those words slipped from your lips.
But damn, you didn’t make it easy to believe.
Not when you smiled at him like that. Not when you laughed at his dumb jokes, even the ones no one else caught. Not when you looked at him like he was just him, not the guy with a line of girls and a reputation he didn’t even care for anymore.
He told himself he was just being a good friend. That walking you home—even when it meant doubling back—was normal. That flicking some guy’s forehead for looking at you too long was harmless. Just a joke. Even if something in his chest burned every time.
And maybe he leaned in too close sometimes. Maybe he hovered near your space a little more than necessary. But he didn’t do it on purpose. Not at first.
It’s just... you never pulled away.
You made it feel like he belonged there.
And then there were the little things.
The way you always insisted you weren’t picky, but he still remembered how you liked your noodles with less broth. The way he always brought an extra hoodie because yeah, you always forgot yours, and he didn’t want you getting cold. The way he chose the seat next to you, even if the room was empty. Always you. Always your side.
You never questioned it.
Except that one time.
"Why’re you always hanging out with me? I'm not exactly a party."
He remembered how you asked it with a smile, trying to play it off.
But it hit him harder than he expected. So he gave you the truth. Or at least… part of it.
"Yeah, but you’re my favorite kind of quiet."
You laughed, of course. Brushed it off like it was nothing.
But he saw the way you looked down after. The way your cheeks went warm. And he carried that moment with him, filed it away with all the other things he never said out loud.
And when people asked if you two were dating and you laughed and said “No, I’m definitely not his type”—he never corrected you.
He should’ve. God, he wanted to.
But instead, he just smiled. That same tight, hollow smile.
Because you were wrong.
You were so wrong.
You weren’t loud, or bold, or flashy like the girls who chased him, sure. But none of them ever made him feel the way you did.
And you never saw it.
You looked at yourself and only saw “plain.” But he looked at you and saw home.
And he stayed.
He always stayed.
That part? You never really understood.
But maybe… he was just too much of a coward to make you.
***
It happened one weekend night.
Your parents were out of town for a wedding (you didn't want to go along), leaving you with the house to yourself. You’d planned to spend the evening curled up with snacks and a cheesy drama, nothing unusual. The house was quiet, comfortably so.
Until a knock came at the front door. Loud. Repetitive.
You opened it, and there he was, him. Tall, flushed, and very, very drunk.
“Heeeyyy,” he drawled, grinning lopsidedly as he leaned against the doorframe. “Youuuuuu. I missed you.”
You blinked, completely stunned. “Wait—what the hell? Are you drunk? Where were you?”
He didn’t answer. Instead, he stumbled forward, and your reflexes kicked in just in time to stop him from falling face-first into your entryway.
“Oh my God,” you muttered, arms flailing as you tried to support him. “Jeez, you’re heavy, what did you drink?”
He giggled. Actually giggled.
“Dunno,” he mumbled, dropping most of his weight onto you like a sleepy sloth. “They gave me... stuff. Tasted like cough syrup. Missed your face though…”
You groaned, knees nearly buckling under him as you fumbled to drag his dead weight toward the living room. “You missed my face? Seriously?”
He made a noise that was suspiciously close to a whine. “Yeah… You didn’t come to the party. I waited. Got bored. Left.”
“You should’ve just stayed and sobered up instead of dragging your drunk ass here.”
But he didn’t respond. Instead, he slurred something completely incoherent and nuzzled into your shoulder.
You finally managed to guide him to the couch, huffing and trying to keep your balance. But as you bent to lower him onto the cushions, he suddenly shifted his weight and with zero warning, pulled you down with him.
“W-Wait—!”
You fell right on top of him with a muffled oof, and before you could scramble away, his arms lazily wrapped around you, holding you there like a living body pillow.
“Comfy,” he mumbled against your hair. “You smell nice.”
Your brain short-circuited. “Wha— I— Get off!”
But he didn’t budge. In fact, he snuggled closer, warmth radiating off him as he held you like it was the most natural thing in the world.
“Y’know,” he whispered, voice thick with sleep and alcohol, “I don’t like it when you say you’re not my type.”
You froze.
“I hate it,” he added, softer now. “So dumb. You don’t even see how much I like being around you…”
Then silence. Deep, slow breaths. He was already half-asleep, completely unaware of the way your heart was trying to beat out of your chest.
You didn’t know what to say.
So you said nothing.
And stayed there, quietly listening to the sound of his breathing, with your face burning and your thoughts racing, wondering if he’d remember any of it in the morning.
Your heart was pounding like it wanted to escape your chest.
You could feel the heat of his breath against your collarbone, his arms still wrapped around you in a lazy hold. Everything about the moment was too much—the closeness, the weight of his words, the way he mumbled "I don’t like it when you say you’re not my type.”
It should’ve meant something. Should’ve stirred something deeper. And for a moment, it did.
But then, reality hit.
This was him—the same guy who’d flirted with three girls just last week, the same guy whose phone buzzed with messages from different names at ungodly hours. The guy who could have anyone he wanted with just a glance and a half-hearted smile.
Your brows furrowed, the haze of warmth in your chest beginning to cool.
Of course he was saying stuff like that. He was drunk. Sloppy. Blurry-eyed. Probably mistaking you for someone else, or worse, just saying the first sweet thing that came to mind because it was easy. Because that's what he does.
The warmth in your cheeks faded. Your eyes narrowed slightly as you stared.
You sighed.
“Stupid drunk,” you muttered, voice flat and unimpressed.
He didn’t react, already halfway to sleep, breathing soft and slow like a knocked-out puppy.
You stayed like that for a moment longer, caught between the ghost of his words and the bitter edge of your thoughts. Part of you wanted to believe what he said. But the other part? The part that had watched girl after girl fall for him and get tossed aside like it was nothing?
That part just wanted to roll its eyes.
Still, you didn’t move.
Because even if you didn’t believe him…
His arms around you still felt kind of nice.
***
You two acted normal after the morning of that. He probably didn't remember what he said, which was a good thing for you. Moved on, like nothing happened.
It's been a few days after that and you were talking about someone new—a guy from your class, apparently. You had that little spark in your voice, the one he usually only heard when you were talking about food or finding a cute dog online.
He didn’t like it. Not one bit.
“So yeah,” you said casually, biting into a snack as you scrolled on your phone, “he offered to walk me home the other day. I didn’t let him, obviously. But he was really nice about it. Kinda surprising.”
He sat beside you on your bed, leaning back on one hand, pretending not to care. “Oh? He did?”
“Yeah. I think he’s cool,” you said, voice light, unaware of how that single word stabbed into him harder than he wanted to admit.
He tilted his head, a smile pulling at his lips, one of those closed-eyed smiles he wore when he was being “harmless.”
“You do?”
You nodded, totally unfazed. “Mhm. He’s funny, smart. Kinda cute.”
There it was.
The trigger.
He sat up a little straighter, the smile never quite reaching his eyes now. “Funny, smart, cute?” he repeated, still with that casual tone. “Wow. Sounds like a real catch.”
You blinked at him. “Yeah, I guess. He’s easy to talk to.”
He snorted. “Right, right. Tall guy? Bit of a clean-cut look?”
You nodded again, chewing absently on your snack.
“Must be nice,” he muttered, crossing his arms. “Bet he’s the type to open doors and call you ma’am too.”
You laughed. “I mean, manners aren’t exactly a red flag.”
“Oh yeah, totally,” he said, voice picking up heat now, even as he smiled. “So polite. Bet he irons his shirts and rehearses compliments in the mirror.”
You gave him a look, amused. “What is with you?”
“Nothing. Just sayin’—guy’s probably all talk. Bet he folds under pressure. Can’t even kill a spider without screaming.”
You raised a brow, “That’s a bold assumption.”
He scoffed, throwing his hands up, still smiling but not meaning it. “I’m taller, better looking, and I don’t have to try so hard to impress people.”
Your jaw dropped a little. “What?”
“I’m just saying,” he said, raising his bottle in mock-toast. “If you’re gonna go for someone ‘cool,’ maybe aim higher. You know. Someone who’s taller, funnier, better-looking, less try-hard. Maybe someone who’s known you since you were five. Just throwing that out there.”
“Huh?”
“And I bet my dick’s bigger than his."
You choked on your drink, “What?!”
He blinked. “What?”
You stared at him, stunned, and he just gave a tiny shrug like oops, did I say that out loud?
You laughed, shaking your head, brushing it all off like it was just another one of his weird ego trips. “Okay, weirdo.”
He didn’t respond right away.
He just watched you, jaw tightening slightly as you turned your attention back to your phone, entirely missing the storm he was trying to hide behind casual smirks and crude jokes.
You didn’t get it, because you didn’t think he looked at you that way.
***
After that conversation, things didn’t exactly change—but they didn’t quite go back to normal either.
He still walked you home. Still flopped onto your bed like it was his own. Still stole your snacks and your charger and your last bit of patience on most days.
But sometimes, you’d catch him watching you a little too long.
Not in the obvious way. Not like the way other guys did, staring with boldness and intentions written all over their faces.
No—he did it quietly. Like he was trying to memorize the way you smiled when you thought no one was looking. Like he was trying to figure something out about you… or maybe about himself.
Then there were the little shifts.
He started texting back slower when you told him you were talking to that guy again. Didn’t say anything harsh, but his replies were short. Blunt.
And when that same guy approached you one afternoon in the hallway, he just so happened to slide in between you two, throwing an arm around your shoulder.
“Didn’t know you liked hanging out with traffic cones,” he muttered with a lopsided grin, nodding at the guy’s neon hoodie.
You laughed nervously, brushing it off. “You’re so dumb.”
But the guy left after that. Didn’t even try to keep the conversation going.
And when you asked him what that was about, he just shrugged.
“Didn’t like his face.”
You rolled your eyes. “You don’t like anyone’s face lately.”
He smiled. “Yours is okay, I guess.”
And then there were those times when you were on your phone, texting, and he’d lean over your shoulder too quickly.
“Who’s that?”
“No one.”
“Hmm. No one has a name?”
You sighed, brushing him away. “Why are you so nosy lately?”
But he’d never answer. He’d just flop backward onto the couch or your bed and throw an arm over his eyes like he was bored. Or tired. Or both.
But you felt it.
Something had shifted.
He was getting quieter about the things he didn’t say. Quieter about how he stayed so close but kept himself just far enough that you wouldn’t really notice.
***
You didn’t say anything about it to him.
Not when you got the number. Not when you exchanged a few late-night texts with the guy from class. And definitely not when he asked who kept lighting up your phone and you lied—said it was your cousin, or some stupid group chat.
Because… if he wanted to keep treating you like you were just his best friend, then fine. Maybe you’d stop waiting. You were plain ol Jane anyway, at this rate you'd end up alone. Not like anyone would like you if you don't even try or put any effort to yourself. Maybe it was time to try something different.
Someone different.
So you said yes to a date.
It wasn’t a big deal. Just a small place near the station, casual, low-pressure. You wore a little lip tint. Changed your shirt twice. Checked your phone four times on the way there.
You even left the house without telling him.
Which was rare.
Because somehow, despite how frustrated you were, you still felt a little guilty doing something like this without him knowing. Scrap that! You shouldn't feel guilty at all, it's not like you're his girlfriend or something. Plus, this was your first date, you shouldn't even think of him.
You got there early. Sat at the little table. Smoothed your skirt out. Sipped water slowly.
And waited.
Then waited some more.
Minutes passed. Then a half-hour. Then an hour.
No messages. No call. Just… silence.
At some point, you stopped pretending to check your phone like there was something new. You just sat there, hands folded, eyes distant. Trying not to let it sink in too hard, but it did anyway.
He didn’t show.
No explanation.
No reason.
Just a reminder that maybe you really weren’t the type to be chosen after all.
By the time you got home, it was dark. You kicked your shoes off a little harder than usual, holding back the pressure behind your eyes. The house was quiet. Your parents weren’t home. Just you. And the lingering ache of rejection sitting heavy in your chest.
Maybe you shouldn't gotten your hopes up.
And then you heard the knock on your door. You already knew who it was.
He walked in like he always did, with a lazy grin and a snack in hand. You stared at him like you hadn’t just spent an hour trying to convince yourself you were worth showing up for.
“Yo. You were gone,” he said, tossing a drink on your desk like usual. “Didn’t text me back. Something happened?”
You looked up from where you sat on your bed, your voice dull. “No. I just… needed some air.”
He paused. The grin faltered, but only for a split second.
“…Did you go somewhere?”
You forced a laugh, shaking your head. “Just errands. Nothing interesting.”
He didn’t question it. He trusted you too easily. Or maybe he didn’t want to push. Instead, he stretched out beside you, letting out a sigh. “People are exhausting. I don’t get how you deal with them.”
You shrugged, keeping your voice light. “Guess I just have more patience.”
He turned his head to look at you then—really looked. Eyes soft, searching.
“You okay?”
You smiled, quick and small. “Yeah. Just tired.”
And that was the thing with him. He’d always pull back just when he was about to see something too real. Like he was afraid of what he might find if he looked too closely.
So, he let it go.
He reached for the controller on your desk, tossing it in your lap. “Wanna game ‘til we pass out?”
You nodded.
Because what else could you do?
You couldn’t tell him your date never showed up. You couldn’t tell him that for a brief moment, you thought maybe—just maybe—you could be wanted by someone else. That someone else could make you forget the way he made you feel without ever touching you.
***
Of course, he knew.
He always knew.
He noticed the shift before you even realized it yourself—how you started texting a little less when he was around, how you smiled down at your phone and quickly locked it when he leaned over. How you’d hum that soft little tune you always did when you were nervous or excited.
It didn’t take much.
One glance at your screen while you left it unattended. One name. One stupid string of texts about Friday and coffee and maybe I’ll see you there? :)
And it pissed him off more than he wanted to admit.
Not because he thought you weren’t allowed to date. Not even because he thought the guy was anything special.
No.
It was because you thought someone else could understand you better than he did. That someone else could earn what he’d spent years protecting.
You didn’t know it, but he was the reason most guys never got near you in the first place.
He wasn’t exactly subtle—especially in high school. Any guy who so much as looked at you too long got “the talk.” A casual hand around your shoulders. A stare that went a little too cold. A whispered “She’s not interested” even if you hadn’t said it yourself.
He made it hard for anyone to approach. On purpose.
Because you were his.
Not in the possessive, boyfriend kind of way. At least, that’s what he told himself. But in the I know every part of you, and no one else ever will kind of way.
So when this new guy started sniffing around, he didn’t wait.
He caught the guy behind the gym after class, right where the hallway cameras didn’t reach.
The guy flinched when he turned the corner and saw him standing there—arms crossed, calm smile on his face like this was just another casual run-in. But his eyes… his eyes were cold.
“Hey,” he said smoothly, stepping into his path.
The guy hesitated, confused. “Uh. Hey?”
“You’ve been texting her.”
The guy blinked, caught off guard. “I—what?”
He took another step closer. “Don’t play dumb. You’ve been trying to take her out. Planning something for Friday, right? Café date?”
The guy laughed nervously, confused. “Yeah? I mean… she said yes.”
That smile widened, but it didn’t reach his eyes.
“Yeah. She’s nice like that.”
Then the smile dropped.
“But let’s get one thing straight.”
The guy’s brows pulled together. “What are you—?”
He grabbed the front of his collar, shoving him hard against the wall, voice dropping low and sharp.
“You’re not gonna show up.”
The guy froze. “What the hell is your problem?!”
“I don’t like repeating myself.” He leaned in close, breath calm and voice terrifyingly even. “You’re going to leave her alone. You’re going to block her. And you’re never going to speak to her again.”
“You’re insane—!”
He smiled again, twisting the guy’s shirt tighter. “No. You’re stupid. See, here’s the thing. I’m the popular guy. Good grades. Everyone loves me.” He tilted his head, voice dropping even further. “You? You’re a background character. No one’s gonna believe some awkward little shit over me. You tell anyone I threatened you, and all I have to do is smile and say, ‘Who, me?’ And everyone will laugh and move on.”
He let go with a shove, stepping back as the guy gasped, fixing his shirt.
“You can call it jealousy. Obsession. Whatever makes you feel better,” he said, brushing invisible dust off his sleeve. “But here’s what it really is, I’m not letting someone like you anywhere near her.”
The guy stared at him, chest heaving.
He walked away with a casual wave. “Don’t forget. Friday? You’re busy~”
The guy didn’t show up.
And that night, when he dropped by your room and found you curled up and quiet, wearing his hoodie like a safety blanket, something in his chest twisted.
You didn’t say a word about it.
But he knew.
He could see the flicker of hurt behind your eyes. The soft smile you gave him—fake, practiced. The way you brushed him off like it didn’t matter. He wanted to feel satisfied. Victorious.
But it just made him feel worse.
Because no matter how much he tried to control things… he couldn’t stop that sadness in your eyes.
You didn’t even know it was him. Didn’t even know that all this time, the reason you felt so overlooked, so invisible was because he’d made sure of it.
Not because he wanted to hurt you. But because he couldn’t stand the idea of someone else seeing what he saw.
You were his quiet. His warmth. His constant.
And if someone else took that away from him?
He didn’t know who he’d be.
***
It started small.
You noticed it when you caught him glaring at someone you’d only spoken to once. When your texts started mysteriously going unanswered. When people who used to be friendly now looked at you like they didn’t want to get involved.
At first, you thought you were just overthinking it. Paranoia, maybe. You were introverted, bad at reading people. You kept to yourself more often than not, maybe that just meant people naturally faded away.
But then there were moments.
Moments where you caught the sharpness behind his smile when someone mentioned another guy’s name. Moments where his “jokes” about being possessive didn’t feel so funny anymore. Moments where he looked at you too long, too quietly, like he was thinking something he couldn’t say out loud.
And then that night—everything shifted.
He was in your room again. Like always. Sprawled out on your bed, head resting against your pillow like it belonged to him. You were on your floor, flipping through old game cases, trying to ignore the heavy beat of your heart.
“You’ve been quiet lately,” he said, tone light but eyes tracking every move you made.
You shrugged. “Just thinking.”
“About?”
You didn’t answer right away. You didn’t really know how to. Your mind had been a mess lately, spinning with everything you didn’t understand. Everything you were starting to understand.
“Do you…” you hesitated, eyes on the case in your hand. “Do you ever think people avoid me because of you?”
He sat up. Slowly.
“Where’s that coming from?”
“I don’t know,” you muttered. “It just feels like… people don’t even try anymore.”
There was a beat of silence.
Then he stood. Walked over. Sat beside you on the floor, shoulder brushing yours. You didn’t look at him. You felt like you couldn’t.
You looked up at him, finally and your breath caught.
He was quiet for a second. Then he said, voice low, “Maybe I like it that way.”
And then he kissed you.
Because his eyes weren’t teasing. They were serious. Dark. Familiar in a way that suddenly felt foreign.
Just like that.
No warning. No permission.
His lips were on yours—soft, warm, dangerous. It wasn’t rushed, but it wasn’t gentle either. It was sure. Like he’d been waiting. Like he’d done it a thousand times in his head already.
You froze.
For a second, your brain short-circuited. Everything blanked. Your body didn’t know whether to lean in or pull away. Because you’d thought about this before. God, had you thought about it. Wondered, dreamed, ached over it. But now that it was real…
You remembered the girls. The rumors. The way he never looked twice at them after he got bored.
You pulled back, breath catching. “Don’t.”
He blinked at you, surprised, maybe even a little hurt.
You stood, fast. Hands shaking. “You should go.”
He didn’t move.
Instead, he gave you a small, crooked smile. The kind you used to find charming. The kind that now made your stomach twist.
“Why?” he said softly. “I wanna stay the night.”
You stared at him.
He tilted his head, like this was all just a game, “We can play boyfriend and girlfriend again,” he said, voice low, teasing. “Like we used to when we were kids. Remember that?”
You took a step back. “That was pretend.”
“So~?” He stood too now, closing the space between you. “Let’s pretend again. This time I won’t leave.”
Your chest tightened.
You want to push him away, your mind reeling with the memories of him being a playboy.
“I said you should go,” you repeated, trying to keep your voice firm.
And you hated that your heart skipped. That your body remembered the kiss more than your mind could process it. But your gut? Your gut screamed something was wrong. You took another step back, putting space between you.
He didn’t move. His eyes tracked you like prey, something unreadable flickering beneath the surface.
"You used to let me sleep over all the time," he said softly, like he was reminding you of a rule you were suddenly breaking. “What changed?”
Everything, you wanted to say.
But instead, your voice came out smaller than you intended. “That was when we were kids.”
A slow grin tugged at his lips—but it wasn’t his usual smile. It was something darker. Almost sad.
“You’re acting like I’m a stranger.”
You clenched your fists, unsure why your throat felt tight. “You are. Lately... I don’t know what you are.”
Something in his jaw twitched. The grin dropped.
And then, suddenly he stepped forward.
You barely had time to flinch before you felt his hands on your shoulders, gently but firmly guiding you backward. Your knees hit the edge of your bed. You stumbled. Sat down.
His body was close. Too close.
Your breath hitched.
“I don’t want you to be scared of me,” he murmured, crouching slightly so he could look you in the eyes. “I’d never hurt you. You know that, right?”
You nodded slowly, heart hammering. But the unease wouldn’t leave.
He placed a hand beside your thigh on the bed, leaning in.
“Then why are you shaking?”
You didn't answer.
Because part of you didn’t know if it was fear… or something else. Something even more dangerous—doubt.
You tried to stand again, but he didn’t move back. He was watching you too closely. Like he was trying to read your mind. Like he already knew what was in it.
"I know you're confused," he said. "But deep down, you've always felt something too. I just had the guts to do something about it."
You opened your mouth, to argue, to tell him to leave again but nothing came out. Instead, you whispered, "I don't know what you're doing anymore."
His expression cracked for a moment—something bitter bleeding through.
“I’m doing what I should’ve done a long time ago.”

Yandere Boyfriend! who would noncon you over and over again, apologizing everytime and promising you that he won't do it again.
Of course, he doesn't mean it.
He feels sorry for hurting you, but he doesn't like it when you push him away, something inside him snaps everytime you deny him, he loses all control.
What do you mean you're not in the mood? Do you not love him?
What do you mean you got your period? It doesn't matter, you're saying it because you hate him right?
It hurts? Well guess what? It hurts him more because you're denying him of the ultimate act of love!
He doesn't like it at all.
So before anything else can leave your mouth, he's already intruding into your hole, burying his cock inch by inch, raw. You could feel the way it uncomfortably stretches you, the burning sensation escalating with every thrust.
Your cunt contracts around his cock as he growls into your ear, small gasps escaping his mouth as he fucks you deeply, his tip slamming against your cervix.
It's painful, it hurts, it burns.
Tears escape your eyes at the sensation, just waiting for him to be done with you. He licks your tears away, dragging his wet tongue across your cheek before pressing a kiss to your mouth.
His other hand dips down between your legs, finding your clit and rubbing circles on it to make it feel good for you too.
One thing about him is that he will always make sure you get to finish too. Is he an extremely selfish person? Yes, but not when it comes to this, he mainly does this because he loves the way your walls contract and flutter around him.
This is also usually the time the anger and everything dissipates, he comes back to his senses and feels guilty when he notices your painful expression, he begins to panic, but his hips don't stop moving, in fact, they speed up.
“i'm sorry— mhm fuck—!” The obscene sound of skin slapping continues to echo in the air. “I'm sorry baby, I dont— I don't like doing this! Please— oh fuck fuck— please forgive me.” He begs, all while his fingers work faster around your clit. He leans down, sucking on your tits.
It doesn't take long for you to finish, especially after he's basically forcing an orgasm out of you by stimulating you.
“I— please forgive me darling, i wont do it again— I lost control, I'm so sorry, I promise, please please please please.” He cries out gasping when he feels your cunt clench and contract around him. His hips piston and drill into your cunt sloppily, a tell-tale sign that he's near, and as if on cue, he cums.
He empties himself deep inside you, ropes of cum directly shooting against your cervix, while he rides his orgasm out and not long after collapses on top of you.
He switches positions, pulling you against him as he cuddles you, arm wrapped around your head and one gently patting your back as he assures you, calming your shaking and crying form.
“I'm sorry baby, it must've been scary right? I don't know what came over me.. it just happened. Please don't hate me. Please. Please.” His voice cracks, genuine emotion coating his words.
“I'm really sorry okay? I try not to, but I just can't—” He sniffs, before reaching down and burying his face into your neck, as if he is the one that needs comfort. “—just can't help myself, I promise I won't do it again. You'll forgive me right? Please.” His voice is muffled, but still clear and you could hear the guilt.
Of course, you forgive him.
You have to, you don't have any other choice, because if you don't— he'll get mad again.
This is the 4th time it happened this week alone, and it's only Wednesday.
You don't have a choice at all, you lost the freedom to have it ever since the day you decided to start dating him.

TW: paranoia, psychological horror, STALKING, horror, yandere themes, unhealthy behavior that should never be romanticized, Your STALKER is not attractive
“Hush, little baby, don't say a word, Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird.” (Your name) wept into her knees when that haunting melody began to echo throughout her home. No doubt from the same radio it had played from countless times before late in the night…
The young woman trembled in the confines of her closet while heavy foot steps echoed down her hall. If she kept herself as small a possible, would (your name) be able to avoid being caught by this psycho?
For months she had been harassed by a mysterious man… a man who would not take no as an answer.
At first it was innocent! It was small bouquets of cheap flowers, the kinds that one could buy at a grocery store for under ten dollars. Then it was boxes of her favorite candies. Simple gifts that once brought her joy since she’s never really received such flattering attention… but then it quickly began to snowball into a darker matter. This was no simple puppy love, this was an obsession.
Notes made from magazine clippings for each letters so he couldn’t be recognized through his handwriting, dozens of intimate pictures of her placed in envelopes, and body parts of the local cats she fed all had littered her doorstep over the last two months. Each ‘present’ inspired dread within (your name).
Then began the break ins, the holes in her walls and ceilings that could fit an eye in there to peep, the notes delivered to her job, the isolation from all of her friends and family, and the paranoia. There was not a single place that felt safe to her any longer… and the police wouldn’t help since her stalker had never done anything to harm her.
What on earth could he possibly want from her? Her first born? Maybe he wanted to harvest her organs and sell them on the black market? No… even someone as dense as a rock knew this stalker was utterly obsessed.
“And if that mockingbird don't sing, Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring.”
The nursery rhyme continued to echo down her hall as her pursuer continued to explore her home with agonizing slow steps. (Your name) had gotten rid of her spare key so how was he able to get in? Had he been staying here prior? God, she didn’t want to think about what this sicko was capable of.
Creak!
(Your name) silently scooted herself into the corner of her closet when she heard her bedroom door creak open. The young woman placed her hands over her mouth to prevent any noise from escaping despite the desire to scream. Hot tears fell down her cheeks, her body trembled like she was in below freezing temperatures. Oh god… she was about to die.
And that’s when the door was swung open to reveal a greasy man around her age. His dark hair greasy and his face covered in stubble and acne scars. (Your name) had seen this man before… he was the guy she gave a few sandwiches to last year! He was so drunk and lost, she felt bad for him… oh god. Was that small act of kindness her catalyst to her fate?
“My darling girlfriend!” The man bent down in front of her and set the radio beside him. His hands snatched hers up in a tight grip. He brought her knuckles up to his chapped lips to press kisses on them. “You’re so skittish… it’s just me!”
“W-who are you?” The man threw back his head and laughed before he gave her a small smile.
“It’s me, silly. Malachi? Your boyfriend of a year?” (Your name) remained as still as stone. A million thoughts ran through her head while this mad man continued to ramble. “I’m sorry I didn’t come to fetch you sooner but money has been tight.”
(Your name) was suddenly pulled into a hug, the young woman tried her best not to gag from the heavy scent of musk and cigarettes that permeated from Malachi. “It was hard to stop drinking, but you were worth it! You were always so kind to me with your pretty smile and your sandwiches… I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for you!”
“W-what-“ (your name) nearly fainted when her eyes met his crazed blue ones. How could someone hold so much emotion in their eyes?
“I got my life together and I found a nice place for us… it’s perfect!” Malachi pressed his nose against hers. “It’s away from all of the weird men that harass you in the convenience store and away from all those nasty animals. It’ll be our little safe haven!”
(Your name) snapped out of her stupor when he said that. She had to get away… she needed to run!
The young woman tried to pull away from Malachi but his grip on her was stronger than an anacondas.
“I know it’s a really big step, but it’s been a year now! And I’m tired of waiting for us to take bigger steps! I know you liked my gifts! You never threw any of them away!” Because she needed evidence to give to the police! The same people who wouldn’t protect her…
(Your name) gulped when she felt Malachi press his hips into hers. Something large pressed against her that made her stomach drop. “I’ve been watching you for so long… and I’m done waiting.”
