"Oh, You're blowing things way out of proportion."
"Quit making things out to be x when they're not."
"You're being really disrespectful right now."
-No, I've just stopped giving a flying fuck.
-But they are x and I'm tired of pretending it's not.
-You've got to give respect to get respect.
All things I've heard just this morning in response to finally venting my emotions.
Here's the deal, I'm not a child anymore. I'm a grown ass adult. You hold absolutely no power over me and will not make me feel anything. I don't have to worry about respecting you. I don't have to worry about getting kicked out. I don't have to worry about a damn thing.
I'm sick and fucking tired of showing my damn emotions and being called "too sensitive". I'm also tired of staying quiet and not engaging and being called "rude". Damned if I fucking do, damned if I fucking don't. I'm a grown ass adult. I can do whatever the fuck I want, say whatever the fuck I want. This is my house just as much as it is yours. I pay just as much in as you do. I have every right to do as I please.
You can't get angry at me for expressing my emotions and shut me down for it and then complain that I'm blatantly ignoring you. This isn't Subway. You can't fucking have it your way.
