 ❛         yes  it  was  magic  but  i  believe   it  also  may  have  just  saved  your  life !       ❜              tone  is  gruff ,   IRRITATED ,   &   punctuated  with  a   huff   from  the  grey  wizard .   the  laws  of  this  land ,  honestly   ------  where   he   came  from  it  was  one’s   actions   that  deemed  them   good  or  evil  ,  not  by  what  gifts  they  bore .            ❛         if  anything  a  little  gratitude  would  be  more  appreciated  than  an  arrest ,  i  should  think !       ❜ 

           the concern within the old wizard’s demand is not lost on the hobbit , and although he’s still reeling there’s no mistaking the fear veiling the atmosphere  .  stone cold dread lodges itself deep in his gut at the undeniable realization of what they’re about to embark upon , and the fact that it will most certainly not be just any journey . hazel eyes flutter from the wizard to frodo’s shadow stretching into bag end through the front door , concern similar to what plagues the wizard’s aged features flaring in his chest . his throat contracts around the fear , swallowing it down , further and further until it liberates his ability to speak . whatever may come on this journey , whatever they shall face , he hopes to be enough . all he has , all he can offer , is his company and his loyalty . oh , how he hopes it’ll last them to bree . ‘  ‘course , master gandalf . i don’t mean to .  ‘ 

    Eyes widened in fear as he had fallen to the ground covered in leaves. Shivers ran down his spine, as slowly he had lifted his head up to see the White Wizard before them. Fleeing was no option now, and so it would be better to meet their doom head on, despite being scared. Yet, as he looked up to expect the eyes of Saruman on him, it were the eyes of a friend of whom he did not know was still alive. It was like in a dream, as if it had all been a nightmare, and he was to wake now, despite being fully woken – he could not believe it, at least not until he had gotten proof.

          “You… You are not Saruman?            Then…   wh-who   are   you?”

     ❝ The Force is… well, it’s hard to describe. ❞

               after taking in open mouthed SHOCKED expressions, THE WHITE WIZARD shifts his staff  ( no longer a thorny piece but crafted & smoothed from finer woods to fit him )  into both his hands & glances up to the towering ent.           ❛    hobbits ?     a strange sight to see in these woods.    ❜            he looks again to the halflings & it is now that his lips form a kind smile.             ❛    they’re not of the orcs, my friend.     though one must wonder how they have wandered here of all places.    ❜            a brow raises at the two.     a statement to the ent, but it was put out as a QUESTION to the hobbits.
