How it actually ended

sequel to this post where i drew my versions of the risk and threat assessment modules. this time i focused on the governor module!

for the governor module, i wanted to focus on depicting it as choking and constraining for the construct. i tried to emphasize that by using the imagery of the thorny vines mixed with lightening/electricity (especially electricity bc of the literal shocks it administers as punishment).

the top part would extends upward into a web that is apart of the central SecSystem, with all the various constructs attached to it. additionally, the module connects to the temple feed interface that i've decided to give all my construct designs, as well as the data port on their necks. it also has a little branch that extends in front of face and towards their eyes to visualize how constantly aware they are of its presence

as i showed in the first drawing, when a punishment is triggered the gov module would extend outwards, like lightening striking, and also tighten around the constructs head and neck.

i also wanted to brainstorm how the hacked gov module would look for Murderbot, but couldn't decide which idea i liked better so here's a sketch for each concept

Sorrys and apologies in The Murderbot Diaries

Perhaps surprisingly, Murderbot uses the phrase “better safe than sorry” three (3) times in the book series [NB in Exit Strategy it says “it was better to be safe than sorry”—same difference MB]
