Quick shot from the Artist Simply Human Dance convention this weekend. Everyone had a blast and learned a lot!

Nehemiah Kish, principal dancer of the Royal Ballet Company in London, came to visit us here at PSPA on Monday night, March 2nd.  He taught a master class for the advanced students for two hours.  We all learned so much from him.  Nehemiah was extremely gracious and articulate in the way that he taught class.  It was an absolutely incredible experience!

“Musical Mischief,” Act II’s 29th annual community variety show, will be presented March 6 - 7 at the Norris Theatre. This year’s entertaining production features songs that are fun, funny, playful or mischievous. A clever and humorous script written by the show’s director, Larry Watts, with a story that takes place in a shopping mall in the hypothetical town of Mischief, Michigan ties all of the musical numbers together into the imaginative theme. This year’s emcees are Ellen Allan, as the shopping mall information woman, and Victor Anthony Cocchiaro, as the shopping mall security guard. The production, with a cast of over 100 singers and dancers, will showcase outstanding returning, and newly discovered local South Bay area talent of all ages. Complimentary wine will be served on opening night.

Congrats Athena!! Athena receives third place in Senior category  at YAGP in Denver March 1st. She will travel to NYC to compete in April with Bret Coppa.
