We are p-shifting confessions. We are just like your other confession blogs, except it handles p-shifters and of the like.
We will not post anything other than these confessions, and perhaps a few other things. We also answer shifting questions of any kind best we can! We will apply what we know to such questions. If need be we will refer you to older confessions that answer the same or similar questions.

Can they teach me to p-shift?
Hell nah. That's personal to you, and you can only figure that out. Please do not message us for this, we will delete it and block you.
How do I put in a confession?
Set it to anon first of all! Then begin your confession with "p-shifting/p-shifter culture is..." and then say whatever you would like to say! Please, only send things related to your nonhumanity/p-shifting.
What isnt okay to send in?
Hate, methods, asking how to p-shift, misanthropy with action that is going to be behind it (harming other humans, etc.), self harm (we are triggered by it), discourse of any sort from the past / present within the community, your opinion on how horrible p-shifting is, and images of any type. All of these will be deleted, along with if your ask isn't anon.
You are allowed to send in confessions of any kind, and questions of any kind involving nonhumanity or p-shifting. We will not answer questions asking about us personally; we keep ourselves very private.
Why does this blog exist?
Well, we just felt like making a blog to allow others to share p-shifting confessions. There's a lot of stigma around p-shifters, and we hope that seeing a glimpse into our lives can help dissolve the hate and witchhunting. This also includes helping spread accurate information and share what we personally have learnt and understand about shapeshifting. If you want information, ask and we will help you out the best we can! It is a huge aspect of the community after all, helping each other through shapeshifting ^w^
Does this enable abusive p-shifters?
Of course not. This is a positivity blog for p-shifters, and we only allow people with good intentions to be here / share their experiences. We do not allow or think that people who claim to be p-shifters AND are using this to abuse/manipulate others should be given a safe place. We will not teach p-shifting. Do not expect us to allow others looking to become p-shifters to enable them. Being a p-shifter is incredibly personal and cannot be taught. We fiercely believe in learning your own path and abandoning the idea that there is a set method that works for everyone to shift to. As always, every community has abusive, or manipulative people, but not every single person in that community is abusive.

We prefer to stay out of the discourse that exists anywhere on the internet. Our opinions on the matters outside of this blog do not matter to this blog, please do not ask us to if we are pro or anti of anything.
Obviously, this is a support page for p-shifters. That is all that is required for you to know, and they will not cover any other topics that don't relate to p-shifting.

One person only, who goes by 🐌🐾. They use we/they/it pronouns. They are a feline p-shifter. We may consider allowing others to join the team, but for now one person is sufficient.
We are not plural, nor endo. We simply prefer these pronouns.

so I’m very new to this, but are you born a p-shifter or can you become one?
sounds like a silly question but we find that we tend to assume things that aren’t correct and just wanted to make sure ^^ (happy face)
Based on what we know, you are completely born one. But many assume they can become one because they have an awakening much later in life -- after childhood or even their teenage years.
We are all born the way we are. The journey though to getting there, and awakening into ourselves, can take time and patience. So if anyone is wondering, yes, you can be one, and sometimes the signs aren't always obvious or even all too present.
And it is not a silly question but a very valid one! We are happy to answer little questions like this based on what we know to be most truest of the time.
Pshifter culture is fearing involuntary shifts more and more as politics involving anyone behaving or presenting as alter/nonhuman in some way keep escalating... But that fear and strong emotion also making you more disregulated and having a harder time attempting to suppress nonhuman behavior or appearances..
Announcing the Release of NAL -- The Nonhuman Archival Library!
Heya heya! I know ive been incredibly quiet here. I do not expect for much to be goin on in regards to this, but regardless I figured i would talk a bit about recent release of Nonhuman Archival Library, and how it kind of came to be. (The link is at the bottom.)

So what is NAL?
Nal is a website that is for the purpose of archiving and storing nonhuman experiences, theories, methods, and anything else that pertains to the importance that would need archiving!
NAL is built around a structure of a older, more web-based format and is currently ran by I, Rioliega, and Faith.
We currently boast over 60 different pages of information and more in counting soon to come! This is a passion project, so archival can be slow.

Brief History
NAL started as a dream many moons ago in The Shifter Cavern chatrooms when Faith and I were talking. We collectively had an idea about a place where information could be safely archived and stored -- easily accessed and handled, and furthermore, a place where the PUBLIC could have a say too.
Hence, the Library was created in 2024, and we have been toiling away on and off for years to get it to its first release for the public.

Yes! This Library would not be possible without the helps of YOU. Currently, Faith and I have the information we have created, and a bit from other people. We have an inbox where anonymous nonhumans can submit information.
We have a high importance on accuracy, and keeping things to the point. Information is archived with the strict notion of being unedited and carefully saved without much bias.
Our information here relates to nonhumanism, in the form of physical shifting and the nonhuman experience. Our goal is to retrieve and collectivize information into one location for people to access.
So come! Our inbox is easy to access on our website. This is genuinely such a passion for us, and any contribution helps us greatly.

Confession: I don't like how people will self-censor around p-shifters, or treat us with kid gloves. It may just be me, but I get annoyed when I go to a blog and they go "p-shifters BE careful! We will be talking about DNA and BIOLOGY here" as if we're going to start melting if we encounter any sort of scientific fact or contrary opinion. We don't like being bombarded with asks for proof or harassed for our views, but I can acknowledge human biology and my own without having a breakdown. C'mon
I'm not against anybody who needs those warnings, I just don't think it's all p-shifters and I just don't think addressing all p-shifters is the demographic you're going for
Questioning pshifter culture is thinking your experiences aren't valid because its hard to compare experiences in the community but also realizing that the experiences would not be accepted in the otherkin community so we're doing the best we can do
I'm scared to admit that I'm psychotic because I don't want people to go "oh, so your shifts are just hallucinations".
My mate can see them in real life, I know my shifts are real, but the alterhuman community is so quick to discount p-shifters because we're "delusional".
Can someone explain how there are modern cameras and so many Tumblr users who claim to p shift and some on command or partially, but we have zero videos or picture

I get the privacy thing but you're telling me not a single soul has wanted to share even a little bit
Well dear anon, have you ever considered that perhaps the proof is sent but nobody believes them?
Happened a lot in the past. Not to mention cgi, ai, and photoshop is so good people wouldnt put it past them to claim the aforementioned upon seeing such proof. People who are able to take photos, get the proof, and send it online are more likely to be *less* believed then **more** believed. Especially publicly with strangers on a large platform.
Furthermore, to say theres a lot of pressure and nervousness about trying to record yourself. You may not see any results at all because of the pressure. We for sure would never be able to capture ourselves p-shifting on camera, its just too stressful for us. P-shifting is really private, and is more for the shifter than the internet; we as a community arent a sensation to go viral. (respectfully dear anon we do not mean it in a harsh or rude tone :blobby:)
We know its hard to believe but proof online just doesnt exist. We mean like, it does, thats true people have shared it. Its the simple answer to give to say it doesnt exist. It just circulates in private spaces with friends and maybe even family, within old cyberpacks and in strange places people hide in the back corners of the internet. We assure you it does exist online, but its a different story between it being easily found, and more privately given.
And, many p-shifters dont need proof after all, we experience and live it and lots have concluded that if they dont fully p-shift then thats okay. Being a shifter is more than the physical transformation that is well sought out and requested for. Oh, the thrill of escapism in so many different ways and forms.

From what we know, that is moreso biokinesis rather than p-shifting. We know very, very little about vampires though, so please be sure to ask actual vampires rather than us ^^

We used to do it a lot more in the past when no one would send in confessions but now we get a pretty steady stream of confessions lol.
p-shifter culture is the fact that the majority of the community spends its time almost chronically online to the point where it feels like we are no longer ourselves anymore, just husks trying to squeeze our nonhumanity out of our unmoving forms. *sigh.*
pshifter culture is wanting to shift but… zzzzz too sleepy…. let’s fall asleep in the middle of a shifting attempt instead! and then forget about everything that happened during it when we wake up!
P-shifting culture is wondering if physical shifting is truly from the fight or flight response. It’s wondering if it’s going to truly happen through voluntary means for yourself. It’s second guessing everyone’s information online about being it. It’s also being curious enough to ask yourself, “is an older label for us?” or if there are any other terms that were used back in history to describe p-shifting/flares.
