Since neither of them have been in a romantic relationship (or at least that we know of so far in the books), it’s really hard to know how they’d be like or what kind of lover they’d be. Sure, we do have some ideas based off of what we’ve read so far.

We do know they really don’t like each other rn in canon…but hate is a passionate emotion 😏

Yeah, everyone interprets things differently and come up with their own theories. I’m all for people having their different opinions but some theories can be questionable 😅

But that’s also why I love fanfiction. I like reading different interpretations and theories (preferably ones that make a little sense y’know.) I feel like sometimes fic writers even add more depth to these characters we love.

I have nothing against the booktok girlies or the popular books/series within booktok. (I’m not saying you do either, anon. Just saying it more as a preface.) Bc I eat up these cliches too & they’re fun reads & any type of reading is better than no reading.

I really enjoyed your fics when I first found them, but I’ve noticed that a lot of people in the ACOTAR fandom (and SJM herself) have been supporting Zionism. I know that enjoying a piece of media doesn’t automatically mean you share every belief of its creator — just like not every Harry Potter fan is transphobic and racist because of J.K. Rowling.

That’s why I wanted to ask whether you write about ACOTAR simply because you enjoy the series, or if you also actively support the author herself. I completely understand that some people prefer to keep politics separate from their fandom spaces, so there’s genuinely no pressure to answer. I just wanted to ask because I like your content, and it helps me feel more comfortable supporting creators when I know where they stand on certain issues. Especially when it comes to Palestine.

Of course, you don’t owe me an explanation, and I appreciate your work regardless. ❤️

I was not aware that there were some Zionism in the ACOTAR fandom 😅 with SJM, I have been aware and I was disheartened when I saw it awhile back. Same way I was disheartened with JK Rowling and her transphobia.

I write for this fandom and have written some Harry Potter AUs in the past too because I love the series. I don’t support the authors and try to separate from them. It is a gray area when it comes to separating the art from the artists in some cases. Like you’ve fallen in love with the stories and characters but are upset and conflicted when it comes to the author themselves. Even more so when you weren’t aware of the author’s beliefs before you got into their works.

I do not support the genocide of the Palestinians or any hatred towards any group of people. It’s free Palestine 🇵🇸❤️, fuck ICE and any form of racism!

Eris always pairs well with angst lmao but we can soften the blow by giving him some fluff in the end. I actually have a WIP that follows this general gist!

Though now that I think about it, this still somehow involves Eris suffering (it’s not angst though, so it’s fine). I’m just imagining Rhys and Eris constantly competing over dad duties while their wives are completely over it.

“See? I changed that diaper faster than you.”

“Shut up, those were mediocre changing techniques.”

Meanwhile their kids are playing peacefully in the corner while Rhys and Eris are treating fatherhood like an Olympic sport

I do love making Eris suffer haha. I actually didn’t realize all he’s done is suffer in my fics. But he does get happy endings in 2 of my series, I just haven’t gotten that far yet 😅

I miss my little mermaid au too 🥺 this year is going by so fast! I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve updated. Work, life and world stress has really drained me. But I am switching jobs end of June and am hoping to have a change in pace. I’ve also been reading and catching up with tv shows. Consuming any form of media always gives me inspo and motivation to write, which I have been feeling! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 that I can cook something up soon!

I was thinking about mermaid’s persuasion/siren skills and thought maybe to test her skill, the inner circle would like to see it first. Azriel, of course, offers to be the one sirened (is this even a word?? lol but you know what I mean.) IC don’t let him bc this man is whipped and would do anything for her anyway. So they volunteer Cassian 😂 idk what they would make her siren him to do.

Mermaid can lure people in with her voice. The more she did it, the less singing she had to do. But it’ll always be more powerful when she actually sings. (Her singing definitely has an effect on Azriel, which was kind of hinted at when he woke up from a heated dream about her.)
