i just finished watching ep 3 of helluva boss and I've started to notice a pattern in this universe
despite the fact that it's LITERALLY HELL every father (minus blitzø's dad) we've seen are actually really loving caring dads (especially the demons that are born in hell)
1) lucifer magne (Charlie's dad)
even though we don't know that much about him we know that is he goofy and sounds like a typical dad would be. he even seems to be encouraging Charlie's rehabilitation idea (even if he doesn't think it will be successful he's probably still helping out in some way) he represents the supporting side of fatherhood.
from the moment he sings to Octavia you immediately understand the bond those to have and how important it is to him. later when Octavia explains how unhappy she is with him cheating on her mom and her fears of him leaving her, he reassures her that nothing will come between the two of them. that's shows the loving bond between dad and daughter
it's kind of strange since blitzø doesn't look like the guy to adopt kids but now it makes more sense why he always makes excuses for her and even though she's kind of bitchy he still adores her. what i love is how the moment she heads towards tex and blitzø can't see her he thinks she disappeared he starts tearing up. that shows the protective side of fatherhood
i bet if later on if millie got pregnant, moxxie would be a great dad
one thing these men all have in common is that they're all born and raised in hell and still better father figures than alot of human animated dads.
I'd really like it see if/when we're introduced to Angels they're actually pretty dickish fathers or parents so it's very subversive while still having demons be bad people and angels still be kind
