Kagura cocks his head to the side, watching Zidane as he speaks with curiosity. It’s interesting… listening to this person reminds him of when he used to listen to someone else talking about the state of the world and the way people thought. It’s nostalgic, even if the opinions being voiced are so different.
"Ah—!" Giving Zidane a small smile, he gives him a nod. "I think I understand what you mean, but I don’t quite agree that everything can be excused by someone’s reasons… sometimes, people are just cruel… but, that’s why we need to try to make the world a better place, right?"
"Oh no, definitely! There are some things that just can't be excused, and there are always people that need to be stopped. They all have their reasons for doing what they do, but that doesn't make it okay. Forgiving is divine and all that, but that's exactly why it's hard to do." This wasn't the kind of conversation he imagined having with Kagura of all people, but now that he was in it, ZIdane supposed there was little way out.
"You're right, though. All we can do is live and try to make things better from how it was before, however we can. That's just how life works, I think."
"I see, I see! Well, I don’t know, I think that there are some things that can’t be dismissed so easily… some people really can be that bad, and in those cases, it’s hard to say it’s a good thing to just let them live…" He sighs, shaking his head before smiling brightly again. "But, what they like in a person is one of those things that really shouldn’t be judged!"
"Well, that's the thing with the world. Everybody's different from where you come from or what you look like... lots of things like that. So for some people it's not hard to find a reason to be cruel. And that just... bah, I'm rambling now." He grins, and waves the matter off. "Point is, it's hard to judge someone till you've gone a few miles in their shoes. Everybody's got a reason, even you and me."

Fox
The closest thing to a fox that Zidane has come into contact with is the eidolon Carbuncle, who was pretty crucial to the journey he took. It's hard to say how Carbuncle feels about anyone who isn't from Madain Sari, but the creature came to his aid before, so he's pretty sure the little guy likes him a little bit.
There's also Kagura but he hasn't quite seen the famous vixen side yet so that doesn't count yet.
Tail
Zidane's tail is arguably his most noticeable feature from a first glance, and like an animal's would the way it moves reflects on his current mood. It's almost one of his most useful features! All Genomes have one, though as far as he knows, he's the only one who's able to make the most use out of it: Zidane's tail is prehensile, and is strong enough to hold his entire weight were he to hang from it. He can also use it to boost himself up a few inches should the need arise However, it's also the most sensitive part of his body--not enough to be an Achilles' heel, but if someone went touching it without his permission, Zidane would freak out a lot.
...Pauses.
Sniffs the air.
Somewhere, another thief is afoot.
headcanon adventure and bravery uvu
Adventure
Zidane is very adventurous! He's spent a lot of time traveling around both with and without Tantalus, so he knows his way out of a tight spot or two. That said, he's not so brash he doesn't know when to play it safe and sit tight. He doesn't like it, but he knows when that's best course of action.
Bravery
He doesn't think of himself as particularly brave ordinarily. What he does and how he acts feels as normal as normal can be, and if people want to call that brave, then they can go ahead and think just that. Zidane has never been one to try and find a reason to help someone who needs it.

headcanon kiss (fair enough) :)
Though he would definitely say otherwise, Zidane had actually never gotten that far with any girl until Dagger (and then THAT took a godawful amount of time to get out in the air) so he's not entirely the smooth savant he claims to be half the time. Respecting women had been well bet into his head for as long as he could remember, so it's more because of not wanting to lead anyone on than any real commitment issues; he's not a guy who'd just kiss and tell. Zidane likes giving out hand and cheek kisses, though.
headcanon embarrassment (why are you doing this)
Zidane's a weenie teenager, so he handles embarrassment relatively the same way a weenie teenager normally would--FERVENT DENIAL. He's used to playing it as the cool guy, so when he messes up, he does not tend to let himself forget about it that easily.
