I read Orphan X and Nowhere Man by Gregg Hurwitz. I've read other books about Jason Bourne types, Some Jack Reacher and John Smith(Killfile and Flashmob by Chris Farnsworth.) Enjoyed them both especially Nowhere Man, where it seemed he was failing some targets.

He wondered about the Time Traveler, whether he has some sort of drug addiction, low IQ or mental issue, but somehow stumbled through time.

“Where’s the remote!?”

He pressed a microphone symbol. “What's that... a remote, you say?”

The Time Traveler freezed. “Hello?”

“I’m inside my SafeSpace, Time Traveler. I’m watching you. I’m summoning the authorities for your intrusion.” He paused, curiosity getting the best of him. “W-what’s a remote?”

“A remote? The clicker? For the humongous TV?”

“Oh, uhh.. Everything’s voice controlled.”

“TV on!” He screamed at the wall mounted panel TV.

“To my voice.”

“Gnarly, dude. Soo Sci-Fi.” He said to himself.

Since I'm here I'm gonna write another intro. It's been years since my old one so bit of an update.

I'm Dwayne. I live in Long Island, NY. I'm a Landscaper by day and a Writer off the clock. I've been writing since 2012, at least. I've put many words on paper but only a single story, Victory Victory (pic in bio) has passed my test. I'm into D&D, SciFi and Fantasy. I come here for inspiration and enjoy the art here. I'd love to draw, but I've taken up writing. I dream of telling stories. Maybe another venture as I've started to play with Blender.
