Ardyn gives his pet project some care and maintenance.  Prompto knelt, bare back to Ardyn. The synthetic skin was indistinguishable from that of a human, marked with freckles that had been distributed based on a random number generator that drew from traffic noise at one of the Gralea’s central intersections. Ardyn imbued his hands with a whisper of daemonic power and drew his fingertips in a square over the MT’s back, like tracing a windowframe. The seam revealed itself in the path of his touch.

“Do provide feedback,” Ardyn said as he thumbed the release and the panel slid back. Inside was an ordered array of cords and circuitry. A rare glimpse into the heart of his masterpiece. “This should feel pleasant.”

Late Day Two for @promdynshipweek

Day 7 of @promdynshipweek woot! Today’s challenge quote is: “Demons don’t scare me; I sleep with one every night.”

Preface: “… as long as there is no other grand Astral under your sleeve I believe we would be fine” Emperor Argentum finishes his review of the treaty, a small genuine smile on his face, and extends his hand. 

“Only if you don’t have another Caelum royal under yours,” the Lucian King answers shaking it with a firm grip. 

Prompto can’t help but chuckle and soon King Noctis joins him much to the consternation of their shared retinue. He can hear Ravus mutter diplomacy disaster, but he’s not the one that didn’t want to marry Aranea and couldn’t say it properly to her face until he was at the altar so he’s not one to talk. 

Queen Lunafreya was so mad, but still thoughtful enough to not leave Ravus to Aranea’s spear. She did leave him two years later when Ravus decided he really did want to marry Grand Duchess Highwind. 

Moreover, all this stuffy diplomacy almost had the world going down the drain, a bit of frankness could go a long way.

(He’s done a perfect job on ignoring his hand on having the world almost going to hell. Ardyn is amazing in that regard.)
