Project Moondew

Old maps of Dutch fantasy-themed amusement park, De Efteling. I often visited it as a kid: magical days. It kicked my creative tendencies in high gear; at home I immediately started drawing everything I remembered, surrounded by the crates of stuff I had bought at the gift shop: books, toys, soundtracks, pens–and old maps such as these.

I had the most relaxing day at my favourite theme park today: The Efteling. I was there with my boyfriend (I should probably start calling him fiancé) and we had such a wonderful time. I never really go in the spring. Usually it’s either winter or late summer for me. But I think from now on I’m going during spring more often! The fresh leaves and all the flowers made everything so lively and pretty!

Oh, and I noticed that a fountain I never really pay any attention to had satyrs on them :D It was a good day.

Like holy shit is that my jam.
