Project Cholnara

so I was right about my instincts, Flashburn was indeed misreading my words, and actions thinking that I was trying to. . . woo him so to say. But I tried to delicately and gently tell the giant mech that I was just trying to be friendly, and when I did his doors on his back drooped down as he looked like a kicked puppy making me well. . .both upset and disappointed that I told him the truth about my words and actions. . .but hopefully Flashburn would get over this soon hopefully and that this won't mess with the peace treaty that's happening at the capital on Cholnara

So, it's been a while scene I last updated, and well. . .I think Flashburner, has uh. . .misinterpreted my words and actions. Although it might be my fault for that as I didn't really pay attention to his actions such as bringing me gifts from around his planet, and calling me words in his language, in which I found out where words of affection. . .but I have to worry about that later, as I have to find out a way to. . .tell the poor misguided mech about how I really feel as he managed to change his appearance just a little bit as the exhaust pipes on his arms gotten shorter and changed from a bronze color to a more silver color as well as his body paint from the bright and stunning orange is now a flashy blueish color with more greener hot flames along his sides and legs. I know later I might have to ask him for the sudden change in appearance but that might give him the wrong idea as well, for now I'll just keep my lips sealed and see what happens as I know I can't upset my bosses right now as everything is delegate in nature with signing some sort of peace treaty and trades with the giant alien robots. . .

Welp. . .everything went as I expected it to be, the Cholnarian's where very happy to see us humans to the point they would actually ran up to hug our leader which spooked us as we didn't know that they where gonna do that. But now it's been a week after that and things seem to a bit better, I don't know if this is good or bad? but I was assigned to a Cholnarian named Flashburner. . .who's about I say about 15ft tall in height, with hot flames along his sides. And for his arms he has exhaust pipes, but the most I guess stunning thing about Flashburner is his eyes (Optics as the mechs call them) they're a stunning orangey red, while his body is slender but somehow bulky in nature so I presume that he was built for speed yet power as well. But I soon notice that he's a bit. . .too clingy but I must remain professional in nature as to not upset my boss so hopefully nothing goes to wrong. . .

I can’t describe how much we have come along over the past few months, from first contact through radio waves, to actual contact as the Cholnarian’s have been. . .eager to meet us humans for a while now. But now the Cholnarian’s somehow managed to build a “bridge” from their planet to ours allowing for our leaders to make contact for the very first time. I know this diary may be short but this is because of I might be needed to help make peace between us humans and the towering Cholnarian’s as these "Mechs" as they call themselves seem to be really happy to make the first physical contact with us humans. . .

So, both good news and a little bit of bad news. The good news is that we managed to make some form of communication with the Cholnarian’s Though if I had to simply explain it, it would be a type of video call though it’s still hard to keep a connection due to the long distance. But that's not the bad news is that we uh. . .didn’t know how…eager these Cholnarian’s are they seem to be. . .expecting us humans to act like the ones from the movies and songs that we sent from all those years ago, but they seem to act like they’re from the 80’s not bad but it can be a bit. . .confusing when it comes to dialect considering most of us humans don’t really know 80’s slang 

Update on the Planet cholnara, we finally made some form of contact which was a relief to my higher ups as they wanted to know more about this all-metal planet. Upon getting contact with the inhabitants of the Planet Cholnara, I wasn’t surprised to find out that the inhabitants were in fact a robotic species, (upon looking at a picture of a Cholnarian they remind me of a old 80’s sentient robot anime that I used to watch in college) but I digress, the Cholnarian’s seem surprised that there was life among the stars just as we were, but nonetheless were happy to find out about us humans and began to ask lots of questions about us just as we did the same. And so far, the Cholnarian’s seem interested in humans and want to build a form of conversation with us humans. . .so far so good

The planet of Cholnara, an all-metal planet, which is on the other side of the Milky Way, in which we found out by accident, because one of our coworkers had unfortunately had spilled his drink on the main keyboard of the Kepler, and after scolding the coworker about bringing any form of liquids near the Kepler. But after the major shock of discovering the planet, Cholnara we soon found life on the all-metal planet, and thus we tried to form contact with the alien species. The process was long and somewhat difficult with our tech right now, but I believe we can contact the robotic aliens on Cholnara. Even though some of my coworkers believe it would be a bad idea to contact them... But I believe we could benefit by making a bridge with these aliens hoping to share cultures and ideas, but not the least share technologies that would benefit us humans. But I digress, that with enough will power, we are sure that we can bridge a form of communication with these aliens. . .
