The multi-generational erasure of what used to be considered "Healthy" and "attractive" has only been furthered not by shortened lifespans - quite the opposite, the essence of fattening magic has so deeply permeated essence of existence (from the soil in which vegetation grows, into the very genetic memory of humanity) that not a single soul has aged in the past forty years.
No the intergeneration erasure of "thin" in the public consciousness and the reversal of healthy norms is due, mostly, to the magic itself.
