It still blows my mind how Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen managed to convey everything we need to know about Charles and Erik’s dynamic and shared history just in their very first scene together in X1. The tension there is so palpable, especially when Erik still, after all these years, recognizes the touch of Charles’ mind “you’re sneaking around in here, Charles … whatever are you looking for…?” followed by that slow turn to make eye contact … be still my heart.

I love Warlock because one day he met like 5 teenagers who thought he was cool and he decided yep good enough! and just never stopped hanging out with them. He really said yeahhhhh this is probably the best the world has to offer and he was right.
