[OOC Post, this is my second account for the RP collective 221B Revived, and this should basically be Moriarty's fake Identity as an external expert for Scotland Yard.]
For a bit of context, this infiltration thing is something that he's always done out of boredom.
For a while he thought the secrecy would give him enough of a rush, while also trying to recruit spies on the inside for his network.
Turns out infiltration was more boring than he expected, and he's too good at faking to be suspected.
He tries to play stupid but does it according to his view of it, so to other people's eyes it just looks like an average guy. He's still totally unaware of this.
Rory Taim, anagram for Moriarty (thanks to @inspector-g-lestrade and @the-better-di for coming up with it because I wouldn't have myself), is a profiler who clearly works mostly privately, but associates himself with police forces for brief periods at time, while also teaching at a local university.
He can come off as anxious and a bit socially awkward, but he's actually pretty overqualified, however with way too little actual work experience to be taken seriously.
This is pretty much it, this account will be used less obvi, but still, I'll post something. It was just easier like that for interaction, or it would've been weird to interact in a positive way with the yard's members with the account @consultingcriminal.
