It was Fiday, lunchtime, one of the most favourite times of every week for Aaron. He could already see himself sprawled all over his bed and not doing anything the entire weekend. Lazyness was something he adored about blending it with humans. He took a little sip of coffee, the brightest grin spilled across his features as he made his way to his favourite co-worker. "Hello, Ade. How are you? Any plans for the weekend?"
“Aaron!” She smiled, standing up in her tiptoes to hug her co-worker with a smile. “I’ve been amazingly, thanks for asking. And no, my dear friend, I’m planning on staying home this weekend. Dad’s birthday is the sunday and with Carol we’re planning to have a video call.“ She shifted on her feet, covering her mug with both hands to get her hands warmer, “What about you? We haven’t spoke in quite a while? Anything new to tell?” The psychiatrist giggled playfully, nudging his arm with her elbow.
The fallen angel settled himself down on the first chair he could see, massaging his temples and fluttering his eyes closed. “I’m dizzy, but I should be fine a minute, don’t worry about me,” he smiled tiredly at Ade. There were little black veins around his eyes, which started to disappear soon as well. He was still a little paler than usual though.
“Are you sure you’re fine?” She inquired worriedly, moving by his side in case he lost his balance, and once he was sitting she knelt by his side, resting her hand on top of his and gently running her thumb over his knuckles as if that would soothe and help him, maybe it was an unconscious action as her own heart was racing nervously, “Was that- The things you showed me, are they real?”
“As I’ve said before, it’s just a little headache, that’s it,” Aaron smiled reassuringly at her friend and took her hand in the both of his own.
When asked the question, he nodded without hesitation. “Yes, they are. I still have scars from my wings, and those are never going to heal. And the creation of the universe? I saw it with my own two eyes. All of it are my memories.”
