“Just a hell of a lot of traveling and meeting people.” Kimi shrugged, still slightly eyeing Ame as she spoke, “I met this guy with a long sword and he sort of threatened me with it. It was unpleasant.”

Tashi furrowed his brows at that. "That sounds dangerous, Kimi. I'd hate to think you were in any danger to begin with. Are you alright?" He squinted as he looked her over, trying to make certain she was well.

““I knew there was something different,” Ame said with a gasp.”

Ame’s giggle was only interrupted by a brief cough spasm, one which she quickly covered up. “You could not expect me to let that slide,” she said with a smile. 

Tashi’s hand found a way to Ame’s back, rubbing it gently as though to quell away the coughs. “We never believed it for a moment.”

Kimi still couldn’t help but tilt her head with concern, studying Ame curiously, “You sure? I can get you some water?”

Ame waved her hand once more. "Trust me, I'm fine. Besides, I've got a Waterbender here with me. I'm sure I'll live. But what have you been up to? Tashi's been telling me stories of the injured and I'm dying to hear more interesting things."
