Last time, I had to take a break from using adblock but this time I want to double down on it.

Unlike last time though when there was a long delay between warnings, this time it detects my watches near-flawlessly. I tried downgrading uBlock Origin Lite's maximal protection to optimal, as they told me to do. Doesn't work for anyone and alas didn't work for me. But I still do have silver lining:

I can still watch shorts and streams on YouTube itself, and I can still use playback on other websites

Without the AI it would have still looked dull, though the AI definitely brought it beyond the brink, not to mention the awful handling by the studio, or its shutdown.

The aborted game was a Vampire Survivors-like. Many were wondering what could have been for a Postal Vampire Survivors-like, but to be honest there are already great examples of those kinds of games you can already play.

For example if I wanted to play a Vampire Survivors-like, I'll just boot up HoloCure: Save the Fans. This one is also free of charge.

It's been over four years since the last release of Cynthoni as Sewerslvt - Goodbye. I had believed for a long time that Angel had indeed committed suicide on July 23, 2021

This is Angel's Twitter and literally everything matches. Ok, normal enough, went inactive just before the death date, prolifically does art in the style of her crush

Upon combing through, her last.fm (she has that on one of her tweets) was last active in 2022 despite a cliffdive in activity in July of 2021, corresponding to the apparent death date.

Furthermore, when looking at the same username the Twitter account used when doing a Google search, I found out that was used for Soundcloud, too!

And it was active on December 9, 2023

I honestly couldn't believe it. To be a fake this would have to be pretty damn elaborate.

This is like if I had spotted Otogi Shikimi suddenly active again with a different alias, or Jonas Neubauer changing identity and appearance and joining a lesser-known website. And the thing is, this sort of shit is not new to me. I've seen my fair share of deaths that turned out to be dubious and questionable. Jaystation's gf Alexia. Otamavex. Tweekerpop.

But this one takes the cake. Angel's case surprised me the most.
