Setting SMART goals is important.

SMART goals are: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timebound.

Here's a totally fictitious, worked-through example, beginning from the (again, fictional!) grander and vague aspiration that I Wanna Be A Slut.

How might we extrapolate a goal from that?:

* Specific - I want to take loads. + Measurable - I want to take 10 loads. + Achievable - I want to take 10 loads in my mouth. + Relevant - I want to take 10 loads in my mouth, while I wag my tail. + Timebound - I want to take 10 loads in my mouth, while I wag my tail… immediately.

See? It's easy.
