Andrew bird!!! This guy gets it - such a unique voice and style. Love how he combines sounds from other cultures into his own very American voice. The instruments add such a dynamic backdrop to the lyrics.

Love this combo of vocals - with Panda Bear from Animal Collective on top of the og Daft Punk. Not sure why I’m loving the Daft Punk sound so much right now. I think it is just so organic feeling and classic in a non-classic way.

This is a newer one!! This remix gets it GOIN on my bus to work. First, I love the bird on the cover of this. Second, these lyrics are precious - peep below for some of the best lines - the ones that get to me. Third, this remix highlights all the best parts of this song and shows the melancholy parts of it but also providing a song that I can blast on the bus. Solid solid song

Beck can make me laugh and cry in the same moment. His grasp on emotion through his sound is so unique and lovable. There is a tender discomfort in this song that I love. Beck’s evolution as an artist is one of my favorites and I have been listening non-stop the last few days.

To begin - the name of this site comes from one of my favorite songs from Arcade Fire. I go to Arcade Fire albums for many different reasons, and this song’s focus on the present helps me stay in it as well. It is a nice reminder to find the beauty in the real world even though so much of our lives are through technology now.
