▹Coming from a wealthy family in Shangai, Yuyan's parents invested in her acting career when she became a teenager. Making her acting debut in the chinese drama 'Find Yourself' as Cai Minmin, she aimed to expand her career to South Korea, where she joined PRSM Entertainment to improve her acting skills. There, she fell in love with performing and started practicing dancing and singing, aiming to debut as an idol in South Korea. She has a small but stablished fandom in China.

After Produce48, she left her Korean company and went back to China. She acted in Walk Into Your Memory in 2019. She debuted as a solo singer in China but her new company couldn't promote her. After a scandal about her new company's CEO, she had to leave the company. She took a break from celebrity life and disappeared. After a while, it has been announced that she went back to training in a new company in Korea as she didn't give up on her Kpop dream. She has a huge fandom in China.
