I went back to Amherst this weekend and things look much the same except they put Christmas decorations up

Some of the booths I saw at the Grace Hopper conference. The google booth was always packed! Facebook brought their own living room complete with a facebook wall. One company was giving out free digital caricatures and one was giving out manicures and nail polish.

This week I went to a conference called Grace Hopper, which is just for women in Computer Science. As a minority in the field women often leave due to feeling alone or discriminated against. Grace Hopper helps women computer scientists meet other women and learn about how to get through the discrimination.
