On Renunciation: "If you detach yourself from the body and rest in the Consciousness, you will at once be happy, at peace, and free from bondage" (1.4).

On the Mind: "Desire and aversion are of the mind. The mind is never yours. You are free of its turmoil" (15.5).

On Final Knowledge: "He who is convinced that this manifold and wonderful Universe has no real existence, becomes free from desire, is pure Consciousness, and finds peace" (11.8).
