So, the "great with your hands- Um, never mind" line is dead in P4R:

But I was curious whether this was an intentional change for whatever reason or it was just updating the translation to be in line with the Japanese. I dug up the Japanese line:

へー、お前、料理とか出来んだ。確かに、器用そうな感じあるけどさ。

My unfortunate verdict: P4R is the more accurate translation. Nothing similar to "Um, never mind" in the original Japanese. It seems like it was due to creative liberties taken in the original localization that they chose not to take in P4R.

I love how they made everything much more cinematic right down to the first shadow encounter it feels like im watching the anime 🥰
