“I am pregnant, not sick. I can do simple things.” Belel spoke while shaking her head. “I can make us some tea. It won’t kill the baby, neither me.” she tried to make a light joke.

Gaston’s eyes widened as soon as they laid eyes on her. She looked stunning in her silver dress and Gaston couldn’t help but feel slightly underdressed. “You look wonderful.” he said when she came closer and against all her protests. “Really, I feel like I should’ve dressed up better for you than my jeans.” he chuckled, taking her hand a placing a small kiss to its back. “Please don’t change..” he told her. 

When she pushed the doors to the dining room open, Gaston smiled and gave her hand he was still holding a small squeeze. “And it doesn’t ver often that you can see me walking around like a normal man.” he replied back. With a small chuckle, he followed her inside where everything was already set. Gaston walked over to her chair and pulled it out for her before he took seat right next to her. “I’m curious to see what Mrs Potts and everyone has prepared for us.” he said. 

Allison practically melted when Gaston kissed the back of her hand. “You look great in jeans.” She replied. “I mean I see you in slacks all the time, it’s nice seeing you in this.” She smiled.

Allison sat down in her chair before looking back at Gaston. “Please sit next to me. I don’t see why people want to sit on both ends of the table. That’s pretty far away if you ask me.” She chuckled as she looked across her way to the other end. “I would love to at least see your face.” 

Just then Mrs. Potts came in and sat their meals down on the table. “I made your favorite, Allison. Salad, and spaghetti and meatballs, served with some garlic bread.” It was so simple, and nothing too fancy but fancy enough. Allison rarely had the meal, normally her father wanted turkey, chicken or ham. 

That she felt safe with him was nice to hear. Gaston wanted her to feel safe with him, despite everything he agreed on with his father. “I’m really happy to hear this.” he said honestly and softly. 

He chuckled but shook his head. “No, no, I will show you.” he smiled when he rode a bit faster to take the lead. “I will show the place that will be so peaceful that it’s the perfect escape.” he smiled. “What about you? Where do you go when you need some time off?” he asked her. He assumed she had a place like this too and he was curious to find out about it.

Allison followed closely behind him. “Where do I go to? I don’t really go out anywhere. The only place I go to is the rose garden. I am a bit scared to go out on adventures by myself. My father obviously doesn’t want to go to places anymore.” She shrugged, as her horse caught up and walked beside his. She then looked over at him. “But who knows? Maybe now I will go to more places.” She smiled over at him. 

Gaston decided to nod. “Alright. I will try to wear something comfy then.” he grinned. It would be the first time she would see him in something else than his working suit. “And nice of course.” he added quickly. Hearing the word date coming from her lips made him smile even brighter and he nodded. “I’m lookin forward for our date.” he grinned. And right then, Gaston got a great idea. At some point, he could sneak her out of the castle and show her his tavern in the village. He was sure she would like it there. 

“I will see you.” he smiled when he watched her walk off to her room. Gaston then went off to his. This time, he decided to wear a pair of blue jeans and a simple grey shirt. something casual but still proper enough for their date. 

Right in time, Gaston was back, waiting in front of the dining room for Allison to arrive.

Allison made her way up to her room and looked through her choices in outfits. It was harder than she thought. She wanted to impress him but she didn’t know what dress would be too much and what dress wouldn’t look that good. 

She finally settled on a white and silver dress and quickly did up her hair and fixed her make up. Once she was done, she grabbed some heals and made her way down to meet Gaston in front of the dining room doors. 

As she approached him, she noticed he was just wearing something more casual. “I-I guess I dressed a little too much.” She replied with a blush, feeling a bit embarrassed that most of her clothes looked too dressy anyways. But she thought he looked so attractive in the outfit he was wearing. Well, he looked attractive in anything, but just seeing him all casual and seeing the real him made her heart skip. 

Belle looked down at their hands when he grabbed hers and followed him but she tried to stay her ground. “Oh now you take my hand?” she asked. Belle didn’t know why all these words came over her lips but she felt like they needed to be said. “You know, all the time I was wishing for that and now you do.. And only because you want to take me home when I was clearly enjoying myself. Yes, I do think you are a boring person, Adam.” she said. She still hold onto his hand. Like she had said, she wanted this for a very long time. “Why do you always act like such a dick around me?” she asked him then. Belle was surprised about the word dick. She didn’t even know she was able to say those words out loud.

“I’m sure Mrs Potts will serve us something good. The kitchen never disappoints since I’m here.” he spoke with a small chuckle. Looking up and stopping to walk when she mentioned he should take off his shirt, he only rose his brow and grinned. “What?” he asked a bit confused but at the same time he was really amused about her words. Of course, he knew how she meant them, yet it was still very amusing to him. 

“It’s fine. You don’t have to clean it. I will just go and grab one of my other shirts. But I fear it won’t be white.” he said. “Would that be okay, princess?” he asked her. Gaston needed to wear a white shirt under his black jacket everyday. Going against this now could cost him his job. 

gaston chuckled again but shook his head. “I’ll be fine, Allison. Don’t worry.” he smiled at her. “I will go and change before I will meet you downstairs in a few.”

“You can wear whatever you want, Gaston.” Allison replied. “Like I said, this dinner is to make up for the sprinklers coming on outside and getting you all wet.” She giggled.

“Wear something that isn’t your uniform. I don’t think you would wear that uniform on a date, would you?” She questioned, raising her eyebrow. Of course she wasn’t sure if she should even call it a date. She wanted to. This was their first time actually spending alone time without her father around. No one was going to tell the king of what they saw. This was the happiest they have seen Allison since her mother had passed away. They all loved Gaston because of this.

Gaston could only chuckle again before he would play shocked. “I would never have unkind thoughts like that. I’m a kind and honest man.” he said grinning. “I would never do anything you didn’t want.” he stated then. He wanted to make this clear. He might have been not the nicest, especially not towards woman but he wanted to change. For her. He wanted to be honest.

Her hands on his chest felt great. It brought shivers down his whole spine, making him feel the love again. The love he felt for her. Nothing in the world was better than this feeling. “I’m right behind you.” he replied to her words before he followed her inside. He was still dreaming of the kiss she gave him. Gaston’s hand grabbed for hers, following her inside the castle. “I do hope there will be something delicious served tonight. I already feel like I’m starving.”

Gaston’s words only made her fall for him even more. She never thought she would ever meet a man that cared so much for her. She was so in love and she just hoped she could find a way to tell her father about him without him getting mad. 

As Allison continued to walk towards the castle, she suddenly felt Gaston’s hand grab a hold of hers. The blonde looked up at him with a small smile as she squeezed his hand and continued to walk inside the castle. Once they got in she looked up at him. “We will have to see what Mrs. Potts is going to serve us.” She replied.

Gsaton nodded understanding even though he knew how his father would act. He set him up on her. That’s what he did and that’s what Gaston had agreed on. He was a poor man, his war title couldn’t get him everywhere in live so marrying a princess sounded like a nice change. War hero and soon to be king. What a development. “That’s what we will do.” he smiled.

“I don’t know. Maybe a few more kisses.” he smiled. “I think that’s the least simple man like me can wish for.” he said with a small grin. “I do would like that and I actually like that thought.” he grinned. “So, one day I will get to see you, white and wet.” he said, leaning forward to kiss her once more. It slowly started to get hard for him. He had actually fallen for the princess. First, he only pretended to be in love with her but now, everything had changed.

Allison giggled as she turned her head a little bit as he kissed her. “I will make sure I will never wear white around you.” She replied with a huge grin. “Who knows what will happen if I am around you in white!” She teased as she looked down at his body. “But don’t let today stop you from wearing white.” She continued as she ran her hands down to his chest. “I do love seeing your abs through this shirt.” She grinned, looking up at him before leaning up to kiss his lips.
