A Princess to Gods

“Hmm?” 

In the eyes of many in this city, no word could better describe this towering mass of humanity than ‘giant’. Most would consider an 8 foot tall man to be huge. How would one even cope with a man who stood at 22 feet tall? And with an expression akin to that of a demon as well. 

Whitebeard knelt down after noticing a pair of eyes pointed in his direction. Was she staring at him, or was it mere coincidence? Whatever the case, she’d gained the attention of an intimidating individual. And when he finally spoke..

     The poor girl would just be out on a stroll around the markets looking at neat little things that were for sale. Of course she wouldn’t try and buy any of them, for that’d be improper of her to try and buy things that were not necessary. At least those were the words of her hand maiden and father ringing within her head. That didn’t mean she couldn’t admire them though, it was a harmless act.

     While turning away though from one shop, the princess proceeded to almost trip over her own feet while stumbling a couple steps forward. What she didn’t expect was to bump into something that felt like a giant wall. What felt like a giant wall though, appeared to be just a rather tall person.

     Perhaps because he was so tall she felt incredibly intimidated, but that wasn’t a rather hard feat to make her feel such. She had her mouth open to try and stutter out an apology, but the words would not come out. Listening to him apologize now to her made even panic slightly more. Goodness, why couldn’t her words come out properly?

      ❝ N-No...no...no um...I’m..I’m very sorry! ❞

Eyes scanned over the aisles, looking for something easy to cook. But how the hell did any of this work? No clue.

“Embarrassing t’think that cookin’ something would kick my ass.”

“Yes, I am able to, and I’m sorry I haven’t told you. But …” It was then that a frown made itself known on Seras’ face as she considered her next words. “Just don’t freak out about how it’s going to happen, because my method of flying is not by normal means.” And by that, she meant the method of sprouting wings on her back. Though she would have a wing, it would not be coming from where Matsurika was thinking.

The draculina approached the younger girl, her right arm swinging down to scoop up the girl and securing her into her arm. “Hold on, okay?” With that said, Seras’ left arm began to dissolve, the familiar shadows she was used to seeing coming to life as Seras took no time before she jumped up into the air. Her shadows began to move again as it took the form of a wing and they took off, the pair of girls gliding in the air for what seemed like several seconds before they touched ground again. With her feet settled nicely into the sand, Seras carefully let the princess down onto the ground, her shadows retreating back into an arm as she glanced at the other girl.

     At the mention of not freaking out by her means of flying a rather confused expression crossed her features. As she began to try and think about what she could mean, but she did not get the time to ponder much upon it. What she was thinking would be a normal flight turned out to be something a little bit more odd than what she was expecting. There was wings, well just a wing, but with a twist with something that was really not normal when one thought of flying.

     Frail small hands were clinging almost desperately to her friend though as they were up and flying. At least she could see how her friend gets around quite easily, which she had to admit was better than walking or taking the trains. That could be her social anxiety side talking though as streets and vehicles had nothing but people in them. Not hard to see she was still a little nervous to be around others.

     Being set down finally the princess took a moment to regain her composure from the nice little surprise. She looked to Seras soon afterward though and gave a small smile while grabbing her hand.

It was only a few minutes before said girl came running back, her attire similar to Seras’ own, causing the vampire to grin as she had taken her advice. “Good! Just take a moment catch your breath as I figure out how to get there.” It wasn’t like it was going to be too far, but Seras wanted to get there as fast as she could. Who knew when the next time a beach would show up.

     Blue hues looked over at the other in slight question however when questioned. Flying? She didn’t want to be blunt and right out say that was the most strangest question one could ask another. As it did confuse her slightly with such a question, even more with the fact that her friend could fly. This was a fact she did not know about her.
