I had this idea in my head for a few days that the day and night daycare attendants have this mirror up in their room that they often look through, regardless of who's in control at the time. What they see is not themselves, but their other half.

By putting on the rabbit mask for the first time, Vanny fully embraces her new persona. "It will be fun." She says with a cheerful little giggle.

Hoo boy... I killed my red colored pencils getting this one done. They’re practically little nubs now...

This scene in the story had me bawling like a baby while reading it. Here we have Susie (her spirit) begging Chica not to take her away just yet until she's said said bye to her sister Samantha. Samantha gives Susie the doll they both shared as they say goodbye for the final time.
