Chaotic Gremlin

Time turns around and finds an Octorok spitting stones at him. Grabbing his shield, he punts the stone back at it. Time is quick to jump onto the platform, but pauses when he notices a passageway.

Hyrule turns green when Time dives down.

“Oh, ew!”

“That’s what disgusts you?!” Twilight cries at Wild. Wild scrunches his nose.

“He’s inside a fish.”

“So?” Wild goes to say something but stops, peering at Twilight in suspicion. Twilight keeps a serene smile on his face making the champion huff.

“It’s stomach juice!” Wild whines.

“Not any worse than spring on a ranch,” Twilight waves off, ignoring his own disgust at all this.

Time can only tally up another point in Twilight being Malon’s descendent, his casual air about him talking about the birthing season all farmers and ranchers go through every year. Wild wrinkles his nose.

“No thank you,” he says firmly.

“It is gross,” Warriors agrees.

 “The forest? What's a "forest"?”

“There lots of trees, grass, deku sticks, there’s seeds for my slingshot and then there’s the deku nuts! And plants-”

Sky bites his tongue as he smiles as Time becomes a little chatterbox talking about his home. Sky knows that he himself will do that too if anyone asks him about Skyloft.

“Eh? It's where a lot of "trees" and "plants" grow? Now I'm even more confused! Nothing grows around here besides the Bomb Flowers... We don't have "seeds" or "nuts" around here either. Even Deku Sticks are very scarce around here! I know a trick to conserve sticks! If you light a stick on fire, it will burn to ashes. Put it away before it completely burns! By the way, I hid a stick somewhere... Hehehee…”

Wild and Twilight twitch, not able to contemplate living fulltime in an area where there is no forest or plains to roam around in.

Time can only stare in horror. Gorons don’t know what a forest is?!! He jumps down again until he reaches the very bottom where a goron stands beside an ornate door with a soft looking carpet in front of it.

“Big Brother has shut himself up in his room saying, "I will wait in here for the Royal Family's messenger!" Time heads over to the door and tries knocking. When that didn’t work, he tries to show the goron Lullaby’s letter, to which it wasn’t even glanced at. In frustration, he grabs the ocarina and begins to play her lullaby.

“Might work,” Hyrule says.

It worked in the graveyard, it might work here. The large, stone door opens to a room with carvings, pots, and a single goron inside. Time goes up to him, thinking it’s Darunia.

Darunia is startled and confused when a Hylian child walks up to him. “What the heck! Who are you?! When I heard the song of the Royal Family, I expected their messenger had arrived, but...you're just a little kid!”
