Josette & Adelaide
Josette frowned horribly as Adelaide explained, she felt awfully bad for the fellow princess and for the first time in her life felt helpless to help her. “Well….” She trailed off trying to think “What do you think of visiting his kingdom ourselves? to see whats become of it…” Josette inquired raising a firey eyebrow as she waited for what Adelaide would think of the idea.
The princess bit her lip, conflicted. Though she desperately wanted closure she wasn’t sure if she was ready for the truth. Ignorance is bliss right? Except not knowing seemed to be just as bad. Finally she straightened her posture and nodded, calling on whatever inner strength she had to help her. “I should know, I need to know.” Her eyes pleading for Josette to understand.
"I think so to." Josette replied with a kind smile. "Shall we leave by tomorrow?" Josette asked her fellow princess, thinking she would rather take the floor this once.

Belle sat on the couch in the library, reading. Beside her was a small pile of books she had selected. She was in the middle of reading one of her favorite fairy tales. With her imagination, she imagined she was right there as part of the story, exploring far off places, and being anything she wanted to be. Reading wasn’t only her favorite thing to do, but also a way she could go on adventures. The best part was that she could share a story and everyone in the castle, and they would enjoy it too. Belle’s thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. She looked up from her book. “Come in.” She answered, not minding having company.
Josette sniffled taking her little hand to her eye as if to stop the tears from falling. She opened the door to the library and immediately started crying again upon seeing her mother sitting there. “Mama!” She cried running towards Belle as she tugged on Belle’s dress to make her turn her attention towards Josette herself.
The little girl no more than eight years old held up her most prized and treasured doll, revealing the ripped seems at the back of her doll, the white stuffing stuff already coming out from it. “Marie is hurt! Clotaire ripped her open.” She manged to get out between sobs as hot tears fell furiously down Josette’s rosy cheeks. “Please help her Mommy!” Josette cried in desperation as yet a few more cries escaped the little girl.
Belle put down her book when she saw her daughter running towards her. “Josette?” She saw that she was crying and touched her shoulders. “What is it, dear?” She was shocked to see the torn doll in her hand. “Oh, that’s terrible. He did? Well, I’ll have a talk with him.” She said, stern. “Of course I’ll help her.” Belle wrapped her arms around Josette, to comfort her. “Don’t worry, she’ll be alright.” A little sewing should fix her doll.
"But how! shes broken!" Josette cried once more as she nestled her head in her mother’s chest while they embraced. "She must be in so much pain…" She sniffled once more still holding her doll in her dainty pale hand.
"Not to worry. I can sew her, and then she’ll be all better." Belle kissed the girl’s head and stroked her hair. "Would you like that, dear?"
"Yes mama…." Josette sad in a quiet voice with nod of her small head. She then handed over the doll to her mother, and sat herself in a seat on the sofa next to her, patiently awaiting her doll being fixed.
Ang na and Josette | Escorting A Prisoner
"My castle in France! where else would I possibly want to go!" Josette snapped throwing her arms in the air for a moment in irritation. She kept on her way just trying to get away from the ship as fast as she could. Once she was a good distance away and down the port from where it was parked, she immediately felt out of breathe from both her anger and how fast she was walking.
"So which way??" She demanded of her guard Ang na, turning her head in either direction as she tapped the toe of her boot impatiently.
Ang na didn’t answer Josette’s irritated destination instructions. Of course Ang knew that, but Josette didn’t know who she was, so her irritation was slightly uncalled for. She walked quickly behind her, wondering where she thought she was going, when she suddenly called for directions.
Ang na figured now was the time, since they were out of the harbour and out of harms way. She took off her helmet. “Princess Josette.” She said, trying to get her to recognize her. “Do you remember me?”
Josette’s eyes slightly widened at the woman’s vaguely familiar face. She raised her eyebrows in surprise as well as she stopped dead in her tracks, realizing this was Ang na the daughter of one of China’s finest diplomats and a good ally of her father.
"Ang na….I….." She started "Forgive me…I didn’t realize…and certainly wasn’t expecting my guard to be a woman…..you of all women!" The princess then laughed nervously. "Nevermind! the heat must be getting to my head or maybe its just that god awful pirate Captain." She then grimaced with a shake of her head.
"What’s wrong with the Captain?" Ang asked. She’d built up a pretty decent amount of respect for the pirate after joining his crew, though she was ready to leave now that she was escorting Josette home. She wasn’t sure why Josette would dislike him, apart from the obvious: being his prisoner. But he treated her kindly, and released her fairly. But Josette seemed to be quick to be irritated, and the Captain was probably someone who irritated people like Josette.
"Just about everything..." Josette growled then crossing her arms tightly over her chest in anger. "I've been taken away from my home...for no good reason..except because he felt like it was a game!" She practically yelled "Do you understand just how terrified and worried I've been?"

Josette clapped in excitement as William missed this crucial shot. She eyed the cup and then William, urging him to drink with her eyes. “Oooo things are not looking so good for you Sir…” She teased playfully, as she prepared her own ping pong ball in one hand, secretly behind her back.
William took the drink, and immediately prepared himself for the inevitable mistake she would make. He had experience with the younger frat brother’s and their cocky natures. It always happened, guaranteed.
Josette shot again only missing this once. "Hmmph..." She sighed hoping this wouldn't hinder her chances of winning incredibly. "Well then I guess you got lucky just this once..."

"Of course I believe I dream you idiot." Josette growled then followed by a heavy sigh of defeat, as she realized how harsh and rash she was being then for a princess. "What I mean is…." She started "I suppose you’re twisted self as come across my mind once or twice…dreams…..there is no need to flatter yourself." She said with a roll of her eyes.
William smirked. This was the princess he remember having as a prisoner on his ship. “Ye don’t want me ‘ere, do ye?” he asked plainly, imagining she was still immensely ticked at him for the kidnapping.
"As a matter of fact......." Josette was about to say then as she found herself wanting just the opposite, and if she said what she really meant, perhaps he would be removed from her life forever? But that was what she wanted wasn't it? "Well being I am a generous and understanding individual...sometimes..." She said then facing him as she held her nose high in the sky along with her chin.
"I suppose I can let you stay...until you can get back on your feet...but no funny pirate business! I'll have your head if anything happens to this estate, the people in it, as well as the rest of this province."

"Well he took that rather hard…" Josette grumbled to herself with a roll of her little eyes. "Oh William!" Josette sing songed then as she trotted his way for a little bit, only finding that he had really gone away from her. "Two can play at that game…" She mused to herself then as she realized he was most likely ignoring her. Josette then trotted herself back to her former lounging place in the brush.
William trotted off further into the forest, in search of something to catch. If he brought something back to Josette, perhaps she’d think a little more highly of him. With his nose to the ground, William tracked down a small burrow of rabbits. The family of critters scattered, but the red fox was determined to catch one.
After a little while William returned to the bush he’d left Josette under. Dumping the now dead morsel in front of her, he smiled. “I told ye I could do it.”
Josette was awakened from her slumber at the sound of a thump in front of her. She opened her small eyes slowly and yawned then as he furry ears perked up in question. She looked down at the rabbit William had brought to her. "Well done darling..." She giggled then as he was somewhat impressed at the size of the thing though she wouldn't admit. "Its a bit small for my taste though..." Josette mused then turning around so that her back was towards William in her little nest.

"I’m not a beginner." Josette rolled her eyes. Once his ping pong ball landed in her cup once again she took another swig, covering her mouth as she swallowed. Josette took aim and once again made it into the first cup in William’s set, she jumped from the excitement of making yet another great shot. "Well I just don’t know who will win at this point." She said teasingly "But it will probably be moi."
William rolled his own eyes as he downed the cup of alcohol. “Don’t get cocky now, darlin’.” With that, he aimed his next ping-pong ball and let it fly. For the first time since he first began playing the game in freshman year, William missed his mark, and the small white ball bounced off the rim of the far left cup.
Josette clapped in excitement as William missed this crucial shot. She eyed the cup and then William, urging him to drink with her eyes. "Oooo things are not looking so good for you Sir..." She teased playfully, as she prepared her own ping pong ball in one hand, secretly behind her back.

Josette sighed as her sapphire eyes began to gaze off into the distance. She felt almost defeated as she crossed her arms over the railing and leaned her chest on them, giving up her once perfectly straight and rigid posture. “Don’t be ridiculous…” She scoffed “I don’t dream I think…”
William looked over at the princess with a brow raised. “What’s ridiculous, princess, is that ye believe ye don’t dream.” Everyone dreamed, it was just a matter of whether, or not they remembered it in the morning. “I bet yer subconscious would know what ye were dreamin’ about.”
"Of course I believe I dream you idiot." Josette growled then followed by a heavy sigh of defeat, as she realized how harsh and rash she was being then for a princess. "What I mean is...." "Hmmph!" Josette simply said as she pointed her black nose up and looked away from her mate. The female vixen even smirked to herself a little amused she seemed to be winning this mind game with her mate so far.
Rolling back onto his feet, William stood. “Alright, fine.” While her back was still turned on him, the male fox left the safety of the brush. He would prove to Josette that he could take care of himself.
"Well he took that rather hard..." Josette grumbled to herself with a roll of her little eyes. "Oh William!" Josette & Adelaide
"Prince…?" Josette mused to herself as she searched her mind for any recollection of the ball and the conversation. Josette then remembered Adelaide being very happy that night compared to now, so her mind automatically went to this apparent prince that he must have broken her heart or left her. "What happened?" Josette asked softly now incredibly concerned as she gripped her friend’s hand tight.
The princess nodded her head, stiffening her lip just in case it started to quiver. “Prince Tristan of Andalasia” just speaking his name hurt. "His country was at war." she explained, though she wasn’t even fully aware as to what happened."I stopped getting replies to my letters. I-I don’t know what’s become of him. I don’t know if I’ve lost him to another woman or to the war." her shoulders sagging, both options heart breaking.
Josette frowned horribly as Adelaide explained, she felt awfully bad for the fellow princess and for the first time in her life felt helpless to help her. "Well...." She trailed off trying to think "What do you think of visiting his kingdom ourselves? to see whats become of it..." "Touche." Josette said with a roll of her eyes as she then brought the red solo cup up to her lips and quietly downed the drink. Setting it aside she tossed her own ping-pong ball and made it effortlessly land in the cup farthest to the right in William’s set. "Drink up, Captain." She smirked.
William raised his brow as Josette’s ping-pong ball made it into one of his cups. “Beginner’s luck, lassy.” With a smile, he picked the red plastic cup up, and brought it to his lips. He downed the liquid in two, very noisy gulps, and then tossed the cup aside. Taking another ball, he bounced it off the table, where it landed in the cup closest to him.
"I'm not a beginner." Josette rolled her eyes. Once his ping pong ball landed in her cup once again she took another swig, covering her mouth as she swallowed.
